I need a copy of my 2020 tax return with the TurboTax header on it (as proof that I prepared my taxes through TurboTax). Does anyone know how to access this?

@jd081742  You can contact the IRS directly for more information regarding the status of your 2020 income tax refund.

@gedwards15 Once you are logged into the account you filed your taxes in (following the steps below if you need help with your user ID). 

1. You can scroll down to see your "Tax documents and returns".
2. Click on the year 2020.
3. What you owed for your Oregon state tax return is in the summary on the left.
4. You can also view and print your return here, and see what your return says you paid.

Be sure you are logging in using the same account you filed your tax return in when attempting to access you tax return. @Markcoltlin70 

If you are unsure of your user ID. You can get a list of your User ID's and recover accounts by using The Turbo Tax recovery  tool. Be sure to run the tool on all email addresses, if you have more than one.

Follow these steps to get help recovering your login information: 

1. Log out of all Intuit accounts including this user forum, or you could end up in a loop. 
2. Then clear your browsing history.
3. Close your browser.
4. Then reopen it, and go to Get Help Signing In!

You have to log in to the same account.   You need to start entering some basic Personal Info in 2021 for the side menu to open up. Just continue a little ways into 2021.

If you used the Desktop CD/Download program then the only copy is on your computer and not saved or stored online.

You can also request a transcript from the IRS

To access your prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Scroll down to the section Your tax returns & documents.  Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)

If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created.  TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.

Or go to this IRS website for free federal tax return transcripts - https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript

For a fee of $43 you can get a complete federal tax return from the IRS by completing Form 4506 - http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f4506.pdf

Did you read the answers above?   The AGI is on 2020 1040 line 11. If you filed a Joint return you use the same AGI for each spouse.

If you didn't file 2020 or filed it later in the year or mailed it, then try entering 0 for the AGI. If that doesn't work you will have to print and mail your return.

If you can't get the side menus to open up to access the prior year..... You need to start entering some basic Personal Info in 2021 for the side menu to open up. Just continue a little ways into 2021.

If you used the Desktop CD/Download program then the only copy is on your computer and not saved or stored online. So you need to make and keep your own backups.
