HELP!!
ENTER 0 FOR AGI. The IRS took a long time last year to process 2019 returns so the AGI didn't get entered in time.
When did you file 2019? If it was late in the year or you mailed it, try putting in 0 (zero) for the AGI. And see, https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/rejections/help/what-if-i-entered-the-correct-agi-and-i-m-still-ge...

If you can’t get it to efile you will have to print and mail it.

Be sure to attach copies of your W2s and any 1099s that have withholding on them. You have to mail federal and state in separate envelopes because they go to different places. Get a tracking number from the post office when you mail them for proof of filing.
For AGI Reject code 031

I got it to work by making sure the AGI was set to 0 (zero) - I think that the IRS program will put its own number in there then. I tried several times with my 2019 AGI and also for some reason the AGI that TurboTax put in automatically (that for some reason was not my final number on the actual 2019 form - probably an update of the program since I submitted it in 2020.
I think there also may be a problem with Driver ID information. It got my name right but TurboTax seemed to want to use my wife's nickname, which makes no sense at all. ID's don't usually have nicknames on it. The reason I think this was a potential problem was that when filling out the TurboTax form for ID, the program referenced my wife's nickname to say what ID info they wanted. When I erased the nickname in the personal data section, it changed the ID reference to her actual name. Hard to tell which one or both solved the problem. but it did. Hope this helps. Kirk

Tried that and was rejected again
My taxes keep getting rejected why?
That worked. I did my contract-worker child's return (early 20s) and it got rejected. Been using TT for over a decade. The error in TT was that the AGI from 2019 did not match—though it WAS what I'd filed last year.
Using 0 did the trick.
NOTE: By late summer, they got a full refund of the self-employment tax they had paid—just a check with no accompanying explanatory communication. I now assume the IRS had adjusted their AGI to zero, yet never alerted us—or TT to that fact. A letter along with the check explaining that would have saved some time, stress, and bandwidth.
