Why when I went to e-file my taxes was I asked to pay for TT & state in the billing payment screen? Willing to pay for state but not TT which was purchased at Costco.

The prompt to pay for my state return included payment for Turbo Tax.  Will not pay for TT a second time.  How do I get past this flaw?

TurboTax includes E-file for federal taxes only. TurboTax doesn't normally include state e-file in their e-filing package.

Try deleting your browser's cookies. Please see this Turbo Tax FAQ regarding  How to delete cookies! If that doesn't work, try using a different browser all together.

I don't need my 2021 taxes done, I will need my 2021 done the first of next year. I keep getting emails about 2021 and they are done. 

Also, I need copies of 2017,2018 and 2019 taxes. The city of Hamilton Ohio is inquiring.

@2653timothy If you have been getting emails about 2021, then it sounds like you started a 2021 return online but did not finish it or file it, so they are sending reminders to you.   If you did not file your 2021 return, you can only finish preparing it by using the CD/download for 2021 on a full PC or Mac now, and the return will have to be filed by mail.   Online preparation and e-filing are permanently closed for 2021.

As for your past tax returns:

  You have to access your own account and/or  print it for yourself using exactly the same account and user ID that you used when you prepared the return.

Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them.  Log out of the account you are in now.

Or did you use the desktop version of TurboTax?  If so, the files are on your own hard drive or any backup device you used like a flash drive.

If you owe tax to Hamilton OH, you need to understand that when you use TurboTax, there are some local tax returns you can prepare using TT, but you have to take extra steps yourself when you are in the state program in order to prepare those local returns.   And then it is up to you to mail those local returns in and pay your tax due.
