The rejection notice contains the rejection code, and it can explain what exactly was wrong. It is usually easy to fix and re-file.

No one on this forum knows why your tax return was rejected by the IRS. Only you receive the email from TurboTax which has the rejection code and/or message for why the federal tax return was rejected.
What number does not match?
Did it reject for the wrong AGI? ENTER 0 FOR AGI. The IRS took a long time last year to process 2019 returns so the AGI didn't get entered in time.

If you can’t get it to efile you will have to print and mail it.

Be sure to attach copies of your W2s and any 1099s that have withholding on them. You have to mail federal and state in separate envelopes because they go to different places. Get a tracking number from the post office when you mail them for proof of filing.
