Did you download the installation file and install the program ?
Yes and opened and updated TT. It asked for activation key. Window showed the box. I can click in the box but it doesn’t recognize any keystrokes.

I am having the same issue. I have rebooted by computer, uninstalled and re-installed Turbo Tax and tried the copy/paste. none of these solutions worked.

Starting Monday they will be open 7 days a week.
For windows, change display settings down to 125% or 100%. Generally, the default is 150%. Then you should be able to enter you license code.
Try manually updating the software and changing the screen resolution. Manually Update TurboTax for Windows Software (Basic, Deluxe, Premier, Home & Business)
Same exact problem. Called in, followed suggestions to stop firewalls, and change other settings. Has anyone resolved this problem?

It might not be Turbo Tax's fault but Windows Security.
Don't turn off Controlled folder access. That might compromise your Windows security.
Here's what you do. First close your Turbo Tax app.
1. Search "Controlled Folder Access" in Windows
2. Click the link: "Allow an app through Controlled folder access"
3. Click the "+ Add an allowed app" button near the top of the app list
4. Select "Recently Blocked App"
5. Find the Turbo Tax executable
6. Try to save your tax file again.
