Did you buy the download from Turbo Tax? Call next week and ask for the Mac download.

See the answer directly above your post.
I purchased Turbo Tax Premiere for 2020 (as I have for a number of prior years) for use on an Apple machine. However, when I log in to begin my return, Mac is not a choice. What am I doing wrong?
Thank you
No. Sometimes the download needs to be updated in your account.
Please follow these instructions to contact a specialist that can send you a push installation download.
You will need to fill out some information first. TurboTax Support
Why would you ask them what their question is when they plainly and clearly already stated it. They are wondering how to speak with a human at Turbo Tax. "We are humans here" doesn't answer their question. They want to SPEAK with a TURBO TAX CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE, they aren't looking to have a text chat with a random person on a message board.
Phone support is not provided with the Free Edition. If you are using a paid version of the software or if you purchased PLUS you can get phone support when customer support is there. Otherwise, post your question here and someone will try to help.

Funny idea -- maybe instead of telling people to call the number to receive support knowing full well that they aren't going to receive any support when they call the number but instead be drawn into an infinite loop of visiting the website and filling out the help form which instructs them to call the number which instructs them to visit the website and filling out the help form which instructs them to call the number which instructs them to visit the website and filling out the help form which instructs them to call the number which instructs them to visit the website and filling out the help form, you could instead display a message which says "Phone support isn't included in the package you selected. Upgrade to a different plan to receive phone support."
Howabout chat support? Is any support available with the free version? If not, how do I change from the free version to the not-free version so I can receive customer service and support?
@nkappesser There is no live chat.
If you do not want to upgrade to a paid version or pay for PLUS to get phone support, you can also try this:

Excess Roth IRA contribution credit
For tax year 2019, I contributed $3,128 to my Roth IRA. However, my income was above the threshold allowed to contribute, and so all of it was considered "excess." I paid a 6% penalty.
For tax year 2020, I contributed $2,000 to my Roth IRA, and my income is back below the threshold, which means I can contribute up to $6,000 total.
In TurboTax, under "Deductions and Credits," I entered $2,000 as my contributions for 2020. I did not convert anything to a traditional IRA, and I did not make any withdrawals.
I entered $3,128 as my "Excess Roth IRA Contributions for Prior Years."
Then it asks, "How Much Excess to 2020? Indicate how much of remaining excess contribution of $3,128 you want to credit toward 2020 Roth IRA contributions."
For "Excess to Credit to 2020 Roth IRA Contributions," I entered the full amount, $3,128, since adding that to my $2,000 is a total of $5,128, which is still under the yearly limit of $6,000.
When I go to review and submit, my completecheck™ to-do list says, "Answers to review. Ensures your final number is right." I click "Review," and it says, "IRA Contributions Worksheet: Taxpayer's excess Roth IRA contribution credit should not be more than zero." The number currently typed into the box is $3,128. Should I change it to zero? But then I wouldn't be rolling over my excess from 2019 into 2020.
I already spoke to an IRS representative, and they said I was eligible to roll it over. Is this a mistake in the TurboTax software? Can I leave everything as is? I just don't want to continue having to pay a 6% penalty every year. Please help!
On my 2019 Schedule D I have a Loss carry forward on line 16 of -$234,289. need to know where to show it and what is the cap on it. In 2019 it was $3000. Please advise how and where to enter. thanks, Bob
Schedule D doesn't actually show the carryover amount. To find your Capital Loss Carryover amount you need to look at your return schedule D page 2. Line 16 will be your total loss and line 21 should be a max loss of 3,000. The difference between line 16 and 21 is the carryover loss for next year.
If you have a net loss for the year you can only deduct 3,000 (1,500 MFS) max on your tax return. The rest you have to carryover to next year. You have to report the carryover every year until it's used up. You can't skip a year.
You get to first offset the loss against any gains you have each year so that can use more of it up. Then after applying the loss to the current gains you can take a max loss of 3,000 (1,500 MFS)per year. Turbo Tax does all the calculations for you. Just enter the prior year carryover amount.
If you used Turbo Tax last year and transferred your prior return it should be already filled in.
Enter a Capital Loss Carryover under

My efiling has been rejected several times, though I verified AGI. Even then, rejected. I HAD changed a password (I believe) due to husband's death last year. Perhaps this affected things as I have been installing turbo tax from a 3 year purchase plan. Help.
No, your password changes for your TurboTax account will not affect the IRS acceptance of your returns.
If you haven't already you might try an online transcript of your prior year tax information from the IRS. If you have been filing jointly, you can make the request using your information in the IRS system. The AGI will be the same for you and your spouse.
Here is a link to use for that request.
If the rejection continues, you will need to print, sign and mail your returns.
