Im using Turbox tax online premier. Am I able to download a Mac version for desktop? I cleared my cache, cookes, used Chrome, Firefox and Safari browsers. This is getting ridiculous. Please escalate to engineering.
This happens in the Stock section.
I've been getting this message for over a week when I try to edit my self employment income or my (Sch E). I can enter and modify any other section of my return. How do I resolve?
Which version of TurboTax are you using?
If using TurboTax Online try to clear your browser's cache and delete cookies and then log back in and re-enter it.
If that doesn't work, try a different browser such as Firefox if you're currently using Chrome and vice versa.
If using TurboTax Desktop, make sure your software is up to date. You can also do a manual update to be sure.

What is the TurboTax phone number?
I had to switch to using the online version of TT using Chrome browser. Then, after I passed this buggy section, I went back to the app.
I had to use TT online using Chrome browser then, when done with this buggy section, went back to the app on my iPad.
Feb 2024 - seeing the exact same endless loop when attempting to eFile with Mac TT Home & Business.
Get everything loaded, complete - ready to eFile and then get caught in an endless loop of :
Hmm... it looks like we’ve hit a slight snag
Please try again or check back in a bit. Try Again

After 4 hours Googling others with same issue (no resolution) then 2 hours on the phone with Tech Support who basically had no solution after making me wait 45 minutes while connected to Tier 2, they're only suggestion was to mail the returns or try a different computer. Really?
So disappointing.
After a decade with TurboTax, next year will be different. Time to go the Tax Act or H&R Block route
I'm getting this in 2025. Clearing cache and cookies did not work in Chromium. Neither did using Firefox, which I had not used before. I will try deleting the section (ARGH!) and re-entering all of the data. I'm keeping my eye out for TurboTax alternatives-- it has been getting worse the last few years, and last time I spent a ton of time on the phone with support resolving a similar issue, only for them to have me delete the section and try again.
I used to use TurboTax because it was a seamless experience. A bit pricey for virtual tax prep, but convenient and worth it. This is no longer the case for me with all of the software bugs.
In this case, looks like the error is:
Something went wrong: Cannot resolve binding: returns.IRS1040.Return.ReturnData.IRS1040ScheduleC[UUID='ffd2eff1-0a9a-4f4d-a0b6-8c6edd5f246d'].ScheduleCWorksheet.SuppliesExpenses
I am part-way thru my 2024 tax return using TurboTax on my desktop computer (not online). Things were going well until I tried to enter my Personal Property taxes for my vehicles yesterday. Every single time I tried to enter them, I got this error message: ” Hmm, looks like we've hit a snag. We recommend you revisit the last topic you were working on to make sure all your info's correct.” I repeatedly went back to the last topic (and earlier topics) and they were fine. I closed out and restarted TurboTax multiple times. I checked several times for updates (was up to date). Same thing this morning. I then tried Intuit’s suggested “w_perrelsuperpatchIS_ttax_2024.exe”. That did not help, either. I am really frustrated with this problem and would like to know how to actually resolve it and be able to continue my return.
In the Web version, the browser console typically has logs that indicate data corruption within a particular section of the tax return, often a different section from where the error occurs. Deleting the data in just the bad section and filling it in again fixes the issue (e.g., re-entering a W2). Since it looks like you're using the desktop version, I wonder if you could find logfiles with this information, or perhaps if you run the desktop app from the terminal (cmd.exe), the errors will display there so you can re-do just the affected part of the return. Otherwise, just deleting the entire return and starting over will probably work, unless a different error comes up.
Update to my earlier post:
I tried to go back several steps and re-enter info. It still got hung up at the same point (entering Personal Property taxes for vehicles.). I then uninstalled and reinstalled Turbo Tax and started completely from scratch with new entries. It STILL got hung up at the same spot: ” Hmm, looks like we've hit a snag. We recommend you revisit the last topic you were working on to make sure all your info's correct.”
I have been using TurboTax since 1999 and never have had a problem like this. (In the past I always used TT on CDs, but it wasn't available on a CD starting in 2024.)
Can Intuit PLEASE fix this problem? So many users are reporting the same error message.
I just tested entering Personal Property Taxes in both TurboTax Online and TurboTax Desktop, and received no errors.
You could try deleting Schedule A from your return and letting it repopulate through the interview pages.

Resolved after a long time on a Tech Support phone call. Thank you Gladys from Tech Support! You were very patient and helpful.
Had to go to the upper right corner and click Forms. Then clicked Schedule A. Scrolled to Taxes You Paid (5c). Clicked in the 5c box, which then jumped to the Tax and Interest Deduction Worksheet; scrolled down to State and Local personal property taxes, line 3c, where I could finally click in the box and enter my supporting details and amounts.
This is a terribly cumbersome way to do this. It was always much, much easier in the past, when you could just enter numbers and supporting details as TT walked you through the entire process very simply and directly. I am seriously thinking I may abandon TurboTax next year after 26 satisfied years.
Yeah, I get that. There seem to be more errors and problems every year.
