@mrmsimons you should consider your credit card information as stolen at this time. You have posted it in a *PUBLIC* forum, and it's a fair bet that it's already being used for unauthorized purchases. You need to DELETE THE ENTIRE POST from this forum. Then contact your card issuer at the 1-800 number on the back of the card, and report it as stolen.
I have already notified the moderators, and they will delete it if you don't first. Being that it's past normal working hours, they most likely won't see my notification for another 6 hours at best. Probably longer.
This didn't work for me.

Make sure your billing address for your card matches the address on your tax return. If you are still having issues and need assistance, please contact customer support. Please see the Customer Support phone number here.
I hate Turbo Tax. Second year in a row. Last year, I had my taxes done by the 2nd week of February, but TT wouldn't let me send them in now matter what. I had to mail them, and I got my refund mid-September. Yep, 7 freakin' months.
Einstein said, "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results."
Shame on me for giving TT a second chance. I'm DONE.
I have done this so multiple times and no results. You have a software program problem and no one I have not talked with anyone competent in solving. In the number of years that I have used your program it will not work.
We screwed with the service. Worked on my problem 6 hours and no help. I read where someone sent their documents to a relative in another state and got it to work.
I am speaking with an agent now and she says she can't process my payment due to security reasons.
Billing address: Michael [PII removed]
STOP posting personal info in a PUBLIC internet forum where scammers troll for victims ... no one legitimate will contact you from TT or Intuit.
I'm having this problem - Feb 21 2022 - Clearing cache doesn't fix it. What's next?
If you are receiving the error message when trying to pay your taxes with a credit card, please see the FAQ link provided below. If this is not the case, please reach back out here and let us know:
Why am I receiving an error message when I try to pay with a credit card?
Thanks for the quick reply, but the link you sent me simply says it's a known issue and they are working on a solution, and asked me to sign up for updates. So I signed up.
I just realized that the link you sent me is not for the error I am receiving, I am receiving the error "We are sorry, we are having trouble authorizing your credit card. Please verify your billing address, card number and CVV and try again.". I have cleared cache, restarted turbotax, restarted my computer, verified my name and address information in my tax filing, plus the payment screens. I am at the step where I am trying to buy Audit Defense before filing my returns. I've been stuck on this error for several days now.
Thanks again,
Shawn
