I have tried several times, expecting that one of the recent updates might have fixed this issue, but alas not. I get this message: "Unable to sign you into TurboTax Cloud. Please check your sign-in info and try again."
FYI, I can log into ItsDeductible with the user name and password that I am using within TurboTax.
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
Try this way another user was successful with:
Left side menu > select Tax Tools > choose "Tools" > pop up screen "Tools Center", select "Topic List" > Your Deductions & Credits > "Tax Breaks" scroll down screen to "Import ItsDeductible Online". I hope this helps
wait..... Desktop or "online" software.
If you are on Windows Desktop software, try this:
1) go to the upper-left "File" menu and click on it.
2) Way down the pop-up menu, just above "Exit" is a sign-in item.
Make sure you are signed in there. that might do it.
Thanks for the suggestion; however, I get the same error message ("Unable to sign you into TurboTaxCloud. Please check your sign-in info and try again.") with that approach as when I try to import from ItsDeductible. Aarrgghh!
Thanks for the suggestion. Regrettably my attempted log-in via that method still ends with the error message: "Unable to sign you into TurboTaxCloud. Please check your sign-in info and try again." I have double/triple checked that my "sign-in info" is correct, so I am still at a loss for how to solve this issue.

Are you seeing this screen when you select to download using ItsDeductible?
yes -- why do you ask?
When you click on Yes, the program should either show you the import screen or it will ask you to sign onto your account. If signing onto your account you should have used the correct User ID and Password for the ItsDeductible account.
That is precisely what I have done -- and in spite of double and triple checking my user name and password (which work when I log into ItsDeductible online), I still get the error message, "Unable to sign you into TurboTaxCloud. Please check your sign-in info and try again."
I half suspect that this may be a glitch between TurboTax and my PC's (Windows 11) antivirus program and/or firewall, but I have insufficient technical expertise with which to confirm or refute my suspicions.
How about, if you sign into your ItsDeductible account in a browser tab.....before trying to download your ItsDeductible data in the tax software? i.e. get it open first in the actual ItsDed entry login, in your Edge or Chrome browser.
Thanks for the suggestion, but alas it yielded the same error message.
Last gasp for me:
I noticed a Windows 11 OS Update was partially installed on my computer over lunch, today.
Those are known to cause TTX issues, until fully installed.
Check for a Windows OS update and reboot even if you don't find one.
Great suggestion! I updated all the items in Windows Update, but am still getting the message: "Unable to sign you into TurboTaxCloud. Please check your sign-in info and try again."
Thanks nonetheless!
Thanks again to those of you who offered suggestions. After a very, very lengthy call with Intuit, the problem persisted, so I acquiesced to the most involved approach, specifically doing a complete reinstallation of Windows 11 -- it worked (although is obviously very time and labor intensive).
