E-filing for an original return had to be e-filed by October 15th.  TurboTax's e-file system is shutdown for the season.  You would need to mail in your returns.  Make sure you sign your returns before you mail them & you should mail them so you can track them to make sure they reached the IRS & State.

How do I switch from "E-File" to "File by Mail" in TurboTax Online?

You paid for the TurboTax program, you can still file by mail.  If you have any taxes due, you will need to enclose a check or money with your return, or you can mail in your return & then go to the IRS website or State website to  pay taxes owed online.

If you used the CD software & paid the fee to e-file a State return, you can contact TurboTax support for a refund of the State e-file cost.  Do not use the word refund in the box that asks how can they help you, enter billings or something like that.

If your return is getting rejected that means some information on your return does not match the IRS records.

Did you receive an email from TurboTax with a brief explanation of your reject and how to update it?

Taxes help

@Twin2020 If you need to file your state taxes after filing your federal return, the following help article will walk you through how to do so: How do I e-file my state after I already filed my federal?

If you haven't filed your federal return yet and would like to file your state return, you will need to first file your federal before e-filing your state return. See more information on this here: Can I e-file my state return before my federal?

Please specify what you need help with if these 2 articles do not address your concern.
