Here's how you can speak to the folks at TurboTax Support for installation/activation help.   There could be a technical reason you're code is not working.   If they think there's an issue with an activation code from Amazon, they may or may not have you contact Amazon Support.

Without much info to go on, we have to make some assumptions about what you are doing.

If you are referring to the 6-digit code for email verification during efiling, it cannot be sent by text to a phone.  It is an email verification code. 

The FAQ below has some tips, which also includes info on how you can change the email address in your Account Settings, if you wish to use another email address.   But I suspect your problem is actually the following:

You said the previous one "timed out."

When you go to your email to get the code, you must leave the first screen open that asks for the code.  You have to use a second tab or a second window to check your email.  If you close that first screen, the code will always be seen as expired or invalid.   Another option is to leave the first window open and use a second browser to check the email.   Or one can use a phone to check the email while leaving the original screen open on their computer.

What is your issue?   Are you having trouble logging into your Online TurboTax account?   If so, you need to describe it.    Are you getting any error message?    Do you need to recover account access due to a User ID or password problem?

Or can you log in OK, but don't know where the Account Settings are located?

My original comment to you above had the wrong Support hours (if you end up needing to contact Support after reviewing the FAQ I provided.)

The hours above were for the off-season hours, and I have since corrected them above.    The current extended hours are 5AM-9PM Pacific (8AM-12 Midnight Eastern), 7days/week.   

Sorry for any confusion.  You should still be able to reach them tonight or during the extended hours tomorrow.

Wait times may be long since this is their busiest weekend of the year.
