I want to POST a question about Installation. I have been all over the community site, like community/get-started/install-or-update-products, but don't see an answer to my question, OR a way to POST a question on that subject. Where do I go ?

I’m running Windows 10 Home, Version 10.0.19042 OS Build 19042. I’ve attempted numerous times to download and install TurboTax 2020 Business Edition.
In every attempt to start the .exe file there is an immediate error displayed “failed to extract archive.” I have taken numerous steps to resolve this issue without success. These efforts include:
Each and every time I run the .exe file I still get the message “failed to extract archive.” The TT installer starts and either gets two progress through the process and then quits within 2-5 seconds.
I have searched the Internet as well as contacting TT support for solutions to this problem but desperately need knowledgeable assistance to resolve this issue.
If you can't get the software to install on any computer, you'll need to request a new CD or Download. The following TurboTax Help Article will assist you with connecting with the right person to get the help you need: What is the TurboTax phone number?
My Schedule 2 Line 8 had two inputs, one from From8959 and another from Form 8960, Box C is not checked. But the total number of Line 8 is more than the sum of the numbers from 8959 and 8960. Why is that?
Were there any codes to the left of line 8?
Many more taxes can go into line 8, but they normally are associated with codes printed on the return.
Please look at the instructions for line 8 on pages 96 and 97 on the 1040 Instructions for additional possible taxes that could go here.
We changed our principal residence from South Dakota to California in March, but we still travel extensively by RV all over the country. If we keep our South Dakota mail forwarding service, can we file state taxes as part-time residents of California?
NO ... once you put a homestead exemption on the CA house then CA will expect you to file a resident return.
Thanks for responding so quickly. We have not (yet) filed for a homestead exemption for our property taxes. I believe California allows for part-time residency, especially when you are out of state for much or most of the year, and have never worked in or earned a penny in California. We have no California sourced income, but we know California taxes out-of-state pensions and other income, even those sources that are exempt from state taxes in the state of origin. We travel extensively by RV, which the federal government recognizes as a home, with all the "benefits" of claiming deductions on interest, etc. My question is whether we can become part-time residents of California, and if so, how? We still have a South Dakota mail forwarding service we have used for years, but we're considering changing that, unless it helps to establish that we are, in fact, only in California part time. Not looking to cheat, but we're also not looking to overpay state taxes to a state we don't live in full time, and from which we have no sources of income.
I loaded the amended return for 2019 went through entire process, got to the screen to Efile and two errors came up. The first is it won't let me enter today's date of 03/14/2022. So I use the max date of 12/31/2020. Will this be an issue? This allows me to get to the transmit now screen, but then I get...
Than I hit transmit and it says to check back in early January or February when efile reopens. Its March 2022 and EFILE is open because I have efile other returns. It appears to be bug in the software . First date and now this error message that efile is not open. Does anyone have any work arounds? I hate to print and paper mail as that just adds to the wait time. Stinks as my employer made the error, and the correction gives me more of a refund, and I would like a quick and easy way to efile. Help!! Suggestions!!
