Please see this Help Article for instructions on how to review the fees.

Why was I charged double for my fees?   Would like to be refunded.

How can I see my TurboTax  fees?

No one in the user forum can resolve a billing issue.  If you have a question about your TurboTax fees or billing, make sure you use the word “billing” in your request for help.  Do not use the word “refund.”

Sounds like you used the Self-Employed online edition.  You could have canceled at any time before paying or filing then clear the return to start over with a lower priced edition.

Note - If you have entered a Form 1099-MISC with income shown in box 3 of the form or a Form 1099-NEC with income in box 1, this would indicate to the program that you are self-employed, thereby requiring the use of the Self-Employed edition to report the income and expenses for your self-employment.

You will have to contact TurboTax support for this issue.  Use the key words Billing Issue

Same here.   I paper filed in MA and Turbo tax charged me a e-file Fee.

Overcharged for filing fees-I was way overcharged. Was supposed to be $39.99 and ended up being $114! I want reimbursed.

If you used the Online web version there is no fee to efile.  The Online fees are to prepare the return whether you efile OR print and mail.  State is $39 in the Online version.

Thie is what they want you to believe, they want you to think you accidentally upgraded.  Its bull I was lucky enough to have my screen recorded I authorized 98.00 also got a payment receipt with and confirmation number for my order for the amount of 98.00 only a bit later I got a separate email with a receipt with the same transaction  number confirmation number but for 258.00 not 98.00 was promised a refund after letting them screenshare to see what I actually authorized yet they said I had to do this form to get the promised refund.  It was denied both times so far so now need to go to the bank to proceed with a formal chargeback and file complaints with the FTC and my state Attorney General.
