Cant download My State

when i try to download my state nothing happen i get "Getting State " but nothing after that

Have you tried logging out of TurboTax and clearing your cache and cookies? You should periodically clear the cache to allow your browser to function more efficiently.. Browsers will normally clear cookies that reach a certain age, but clearing them manually may solve problems with web sites or your browser.

Please check that your device meets system requirements. If it does not, the CD can download on up to 5 devices, so I recommend trying on another device.

Otherwise, if the state is not populating, I recommend either re-downloading the State** doing a manual update.

So turbo tax not going to do nothing about there defective program that forever loop and the update on the website aren't doing anything

It's Friday 02/21 and the endless loop for state downloading is still ongoing...  now I'm waiting for a call back from customer support-estimated time is 20 minutes (5:36pm as of now)

   @dwiz09  - I received a call back in less than 15 minutes...and got a resolution!  

Actually, I was on line with a tax representative vs. someone from Product support which initially was disheartening, but... she stayed on the line and found a resolution buried in other similar threads.  There is a TTStateCleanup.ZIP to download.  You use the unzipped "app" to remove whatever states previously downloaded (I noticed that I had my state downloaded three times-ugh).  when I restarted TurboTax Premier, I was good to go.  I appreciated (Sherry's) diligence.  she stayed with me the entire steps for the resolution.

Hi,

I downloaded turbo tax home and business and, also download NY state.  I need to download NJ state software to complete my turbo tax 2020 but, it takes forever to get to the download page.

How I can get this done from my turbo tax app without being hold for so long?
