Where? Did you go through the checkout process?

Is this a code you received through TurboTax Customer Support? If so, please see the following TurboTax help article for assistance:  Where do I enter my service code?

If this is an email you received from your bank, insurance company, or other TurboTax affiliate, then you will need to start your return from the affiliate partner's website. For more information, please see: How do I get my TurboTax affiliate partner discount?

No, I just received it in the mail a postcard from TurboTax with a code for 30% off. I've looked everywhere in the account where to add the code. There should be a field somewhere in the billing options to enter a code.

Read that again carefully, the current discount is up to 30% off already so you don't get another discount on the discounted price. What the email should say is you can get up to 30% off if you file now. There should be no code to enter.

But there is a code written on the physical postcard with the instruction to enter the code until 2/13

AGAIN, this was a POSTCARD!!!!!! It was not an EMAIL, it's not a LINK, it's a POSTCARD that I received in the mail with my name on it from TURBOTAX and it has a CODE with a bunch of letters and numbers! AND IT SAYS to ENTER the code on TURBOTAX and there is not place to enter the code!

So apparently the right hand is not talking to the left hand. Get with your marketing people and solve the mess. Waste marketing campaign that frustrates the user.

@gdfgdfg1 I received the same 30% off code in the mail and I figured out where to input it:

- Once you finish preparing your taxes, you will reach a screen that details what products you selected and how much each one costs.

- At the bottom of the screen you'll see the Proceed to Payment button, but if you keep scrolling down even more, there's a hyperlink that says something like Use service code on the bottom left.

- Select this, then it'll take you to a page with a block to input your code. Once you do this and submit, it'll take you back to the screen that details what products you selected with the updated 30% off price.

I hope this helps.

This is the first time I have heard of TT actually sending out their own coupon so that is why us non TT employees were confused as to if it was even real.  Someone posted part of the postcard which had a * on it but did not post what the * referred to ... you would think the info on where/how to use the code would be explained on the marketing material.

The option to enter a service code has always been there but until now that was reserved for those who got the one time use code from TT support for a specific reason.  I am glad someone finally posted that using the service code entry actually worked as others have posted it did not.
