I am having trouble downloading turbotax 2020 deluxe edition. t is saying my computer isn't supported. I've already paid for the download and can't access it.

Is your computer adequate ?  Is your OS up to date ?   Did you purchase/download the correct version ? mac/win ?

i had tried to download on my chrome and then i moved to my apple computer and error comes up that it;s not supported on MAC.  i just need to know how to update so i am able to access my downlaod

What download did you buy?  Windows or Mac?  Does your Mac meet the requirements?  If you bought the Windows download you can ask for Mac download.

If you got the WIN  download it cannot be used on the MAC so either go back to the WIN OS  or call support for the MAC download.

You may need to shut off your security in order to download or install the program  and you must do it with admin rights.

yes  i got the WIN download.  That was the only option that was best for me.  I've tried to re-download again with no luck.  i may have to contact customer service tomorrow to see if they can help or request a refund.

There is no TurboTax download software that will run on a Chromebook. You have to either use the Windows download on a Windows computer, or the Mac download on a Mac. Your problem isn't accessing your download. Your problem is that you bought the Windows download but you are not installing it on a Windows computer. Downloading it again isn't going to change anything.

If you don't have a Windows computer, and your Mac meets the system requirements for the Mac software, ask customer service to exchange your Windows download for a Mac download.
