I did that. The person couldn't help and said they would escalate and I would get an email about it. No email. I've been a happy user for over 20 years but this has prevented me from filing--it would have been done 2 weeks ago!
That did not work. My support person had me do that and it didn't help
Same, except I have been using TurboTax problem free for probably 30 years.
It was supposed to be escalated after changing the browser and clearing the cache didn't work. I haven't heard anything and this is clearly a known problem! I do not like. And I would have filed weeks ago.
Sounds like a lot of folks are having the same issue. I have had 10 plus good years but this time when I really needed support high and dry. It took me hours to enter all the data and now if it is not fixed by this weekend I will have to look elsewhere since they do not seem to be able to fix the issue or have the correct support team in place
If you are having this issue comment here.
Once again the desktop version of this software worked without any issues same as last year. Clearly their web version still has issues they need to figure out. Second year in a row now where the desktop version works but the web version does not.
TurboTax Online has difficulty supporting a large number of imported stock or cryptocurrency transactions. If it doesn't resolve itself, here are two options to work around this issue:
Reference: How do I file my return when I see the Transmission Trouble screen?
Wow, thanks for the reply. So anyone with a personal stock account a does any amount of trading in a year can not use Turbotax online or it will chock the system. What a bummer is there a way to import all my work from online to the desktop version for this year and past tax years?
If I am over 2,000 transactions I can not use either your online or desktop version?
I did import them right from my broker -- Still having major issue
OMG...me as well. Have already spent over *4 hours* on this site...logged out multiple times...cleared the cache and cookies...tried another browser...waited another day to turn off my computer completely and I'm still receiving the "Oops...snag" message and it will not correct itself. It's only one section but the most critical one - Federal - and need to know if I need to completely delete all my work here and start all over and if so, how do I do this? This is absolutely ludicrous as I've used this platform for several years and while I've had issues before, not like this.
What now? I'm not going through the "snag" steps again - have done it multiple times. I need help here.
If you have tried all of the suggestions in this thread, please follow the instructions in the following TurboTax Help Article to contact customer support for assistance: What is the TurboTax phone number?
This is happening in 2024. Has there not been a solution to this? I am experiencing the same issue and it is quite frustrating.
Do you have a lot of transactions? It looks like TurboTax can’t handle if you upload statements that have too many transactions. I was able to get around this bug by just entering the total capital gains/losses manually instead of uploading the statement.
Not at all. I've got nothing uploaded. This is happening only on the Federal. It happens when I get to the review Federal section.
This is happening in 2024!
