Do I need to enter 1099-NEC income that is already part of what I am reporting in my "Other self-employed income"?

If I keep a record of all the cash and checks I receive for income in my business (labor), in my accounting program and report all of it as "Other self-employment income" on my taxes, should I also be entering information I receive on 1099-NEC forms that I have already included in "Other self-employed income"?  That seems like double-dipping.

Simple example, just to make my point:

Received 3 checks from 3 different individuals for work I did, in the amounts of:  check # 1 - $1,550, check # 2 - $2,140 and check # 3 - $1,230.  For "Other self-employment income, I reported $4,920, to represent the sum total of all 3 checks.  I also received a 1099-NEC from just the individual that paid me with check # 2.  Is it not double dipping if I report the $4,920 as "Other self-emplyed income" along with the income on the one 1099-NEC I received that represents $2,140 from check # 2?

Sorry to over simplify and thank you for any guidance.

Right, do not enter the 1099NEC if you already reported the income.  Only enter it one time.  You don't need to get a 1099NEC or 1099K. Even if you did you can enter all your income as Cash. Only the total goes to schedule C.

Don't enter any income twice.   You can enter the 1099-NEC and delete the entries from Other SE Income that are reported on the 1099-NEC form.   If you enter any payment you received in both places, you will be overpaying tax.

Thank you VolvoGirl, makes sense.  I was just worried about not entering NECs, in the eyes of the government.

Well I am stressing out over the 1099 SEC part and I am a medical doctor. Since March I tried to contact turbotax about the messed up forms. My medical license can't be renewed in Wi until taxes are sorted. Expires Halloween! I already paid fed and state tax the amount I did last year. I made a lot more money last tax year. Did I work 3x hours for less pay and risk my life. YES.
