Cant Activate Turbo tax deluxe on windows 10

I have windows 10 pro version 1909

It is activate and ass all the updates to make it current

I installed turbo tax deluxe 2019

After the install when I tried to open Turbo tax it asked me if I wanted to download and install updates

I said yes and the updates were installed

After the updates were installed I tried to open turbo tax again

This time I got the activation screen but it was empty except for 4 blue dotes that kept spinning

I never was prompted to enter the activation code.

I close and reopened turbo tax again and again I got the activation pop up by with the 4 blue spinning dots

I let turbo tax run over night but still had the spinning dots

I return my software o the store and got a replacement but again when trying to activate i get the 4 blue spinning dots.

How can i get turbo tax activated so I can use it?

Be sure you have a good internet connection when trying to activate your software. You  also may want to try deleting your browser's cookies. Please see this Turbo Tax FAQ regarding how to delete cookies: How to delete cookies!

My internet connection is good as Turbo Tax deluxe works perfectly with Windows 7

I deleted cookies from my browser but still no luck activating.

However when I changed my default browser from Edge to Internet Explorer I was able to activate Turbo tax.

Does Turbo tax Deluxe have a problem working with the Edge browser?

Yes, some TurboTax products have trouble operating with the Edge browser. Please click here for a list of operating systems and browsers that TurboTax works best with.

I noticed for the Android device you mentioned the Chromium browser.

Has turbo Tax been tested on the new Edge based chromium browser for Windows 10?

If you are using the desktop version of Turbo Tax, be sure to click on "Check for Updates" and update your software if needed. If that doesn't work you can manually update your software. Another option is to try try removing and reinstalling your software software to resolve the issue.

I installed TT 2019 with the disc on my new computer.  I have Chrome internet connection on.  I have my license code but the activation screen stays empty or has 4 spinning blue dots.  I cannot enter the code and access my 2019 tax computations.

You haven't described what the roadblock is.  We don't know what "won't let me" means.  Is it this:

Are you getting a blank screen with no input for the license code?  And are you using Windows?

If so, it may be related to a scaling problem or screen resolution issue.

In your Windows settings do you have scaling set to a higher value than the normal 100%? If so, changethe scaling back to 100%. Once the license code is entered and activated, you can later change it back like it was.

If not a scaling problem, then try a screen resolution of 800x600. Once you get the license activated, you can change your resolution setting back like it was.

Like others, I am unable to activate TT Deluxe CD version. New computer, Windows 10 and Edge.

Tried everything above. Get a blank activation screen, that's it!!

Called TT earlier, and gal was no help.

Turbo people, your product has BUGS !!
