Billing Issue & Refund

TurboTax deducted $35 as a fee for getting my refund up to 5 days early, however I don't remember selecting this as an option. I noticed they very cleverly hid this option under a different order id, one which is not recognized on their own platform when trying to request a refund. I've tried to find any sort of support desk or email to send the issue to a customer service rep but there doesn't appear to be anything listed on their site. I am unable to speak over the phone so email or typed communication is the only method of contact.

Is there any method of contacting TurboTax that isn't A. Waiting in a phone call queue or B. Going in a loop to their support page which just ends showing you a a bunch of similar comments from other users who get responses to go back to the support page (endless loop)?

No, this doesn't work. Did you not read my post? It was deducted using a different order number, one that came through days later & isn't tied to a credit card or any other charge. There is no way to request a "refund" for this. They stole $35 dollars from me and I have no recourse to get it back.

We don't have access to your information in community, you will have to contact customer service. Here is a link to contact  Turbo Tax Customer Service.

I didn't ask you to access my information. I was referring to your inability to read. I had posted details about the issue, you ignored the details I provided. Additionally that is not a customer service link. That is a phone number prompt, which again goes against what I (and hundreds of others from a quick scan of the community) had originally asked for. I don't need a tax expert, I need someone in billing. This is a clearly unethical practice and we need a communication line that is in written form to establish clear facts to get it resolved. Please request the services of someone else to answer this. I think the question will require someone who can read.

@user17732505207 When you use the 800 number for TurboTax support and get the bot, use the key words, Billing Issue and see if that helps you get a live person.

Use this phone number and select TurboTax - 1-800-4-INTUIT (1-800-446-8848)

I assure you, I have read your messages and I understand what you are saying, however the community is not the place to resolve this. In the community we do not have access to billing or account information to further understand and resolve your situation.

The only way to resolve this is to call TurboTax Customer service.  Here is a link:  Turbo Tax Customer Service

It does make sense to me however that this fee would be under a different order number because it is a fee separate from your TurboTax preparation fees.  You can look at your TurboTax Order Details to see if you see the Up to 5 Days early option was selected.

  1. On the Tax Home page, scroll down to the section for "Your tax returns & documents."
  2. Select View Order Details.
