This did the trick! Accepted within 30 minutes of submitting. Thank you so much!
YESSS, your option 2 suggestion to go to Tax Tools/Tools/Delete a form worked like a charm. I just was finally able to successfully submit my return and have it finally ACCEPTED instead of just rejected immediately!!! I chose to delete form "Qualified 2020 Disaster Retirement Distribution", once this was done it apparently it automatically deleted my form 8915F-T as well. From here I was able to go back to Federal/Income/401K retirement 1099-R, then answer the questions about if I had Disaster Retirement Distribution accordingly.
THANK YOU DaveF1006
@djhAZ Thank you for posting your solution. This worked! Maybe you can work for TurboTax and help them out!
Were your returns accepted after doing this? I'm going through this now and was already rejected once.
Thanks @joshua86 . The other posted method might work for TT Online, but wasn't working for my TT Deluxe PC edition. I had to do a combination of unchecking, selecting another FEMA code, deleting the worksheet, going back to 1099-R, leaving it unchecked, selecting a blank FEMA, going back and then checking the box. Makes my head spin.
TurboTax, you screwed up your update. We pay you to do better.
Did you get this resolved?
Have you tried the suggested information by @DanaB27 here? @dawngriffith
Yeah, neither of these options "work." Both my state and federal e-files get rejected over and over.
What are the rejection codes you've received for your federal and state returns?
Reject Code /Return/ReturnData/IRS8915F/FEMADisasterDeclarationNum

I have tried at least eight times to get this matter escalated or fixed by someone via the "screen share" feature, and you know what they always tell me? I have to mail my taxes in. Why would I pay over $300 to mail my taxes in? At that point, I can hire a CPA to do this on my behalf, which I will be doing next year because yall continue to give me the generic response and run around.
click on tax tools>tool>delete a form. delete the form in question
Did that, it doesn't work.
Hello All,
I just went through this with the TurboTax Expert Assistance call and resolved it. If you go into Forms, there's a worksheet above 8915-F for it, uncheck the disaster relief box and the form and worksheet are removed. And I was able to transmit.
