Went Step-by-Step, but realized Kansas's K-40SVR form was not relevant (and no data was inputted). Despite deleting this form, it comes up in the Review wanting "Appraised Property Value inserted."

State forms do have a nasty habit of regenerating, however.

The answer provided is specific to the TurboTax online editions, not the desktop editions.
See this TurboTax support FAQ for deleting a form using the desktop CD/Download editions - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-forms/delete-tax-form-turbotax-cd-do...
I know how to delete this form, and deleted it again, then saved and exited TurboTax. Same issue...one "area" is valid. Kansas form is the other "area." Software SNAFU...FWIW...
Then you will need to contact TurboTax support for this problem with not being able to delete this form that should not be included with the state return.
See this TurboTax support FAQ for contacting support - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/account-management/contact-turbotax/L2y9...

Thx for effort....but I went down that telephone Rabbit Hole, with no CSR response....when they "answered," line was quiet.
I'm not needing Tax Support, Software programmers are needing my input.
I thought maybe this forum could pass tidbits to them....years ago, TT had a menu item to contact them directly...no more.
It may be helpful to make an entry on the form and then delete it. Sometimes this is necessary to get rid of a form that regenerates itself after your delete it.
When an entry is made, this will be recorded, and after deleting the form, the entry will be gone....but another Groundhog Day again (when doing the Review, that Kansas form shows up again without a numerical value there).
I'll just send the state form in via US Mail...Thx
I find it frustrating that after spending over two hours with customer service both chat AND call that my issue was not fixed just masked for a brief second and this has been an issue for Turbo Tax for over 2 weeks now. I am having this issue even after deleting the form. I was ignored instantly by my first Expert on the app chat. 2nd Expert told me it was my mistake he was trying to fix it but he could not see my screen and it was my software yet it showed on my end I was screen sharing. I switched to my iPhone browser and nothing he suggested fixed the issue. He even suggested leaving it blank. He could not understand me telling him multiple times turbo tax would not let me move forward. He then told me to close the app and start a new chat to get help. 3rd Expert on the laptop browser had also a failed screen-sharing attempt. Told me they were having difficulties and then instantly exited the chat when I told her what was going on. 4th Expert did not show up on my laptop chat when I was trying to reconnect. I signed into the iPhone app and it showed 4th Expert tried to connect with me but it only showed loading on my laptop. 5th Expert on the laptop browser tried to have me search for a "K-1 form and jump to the link" but no such thing was showing on my end while trying to get more answers I decided to have Turbo Tax call me while I was on the chat. 6 Expert told me how to delete the form on the laptop, (spent less than 5 minutes on the call) and it showed it fixed the issue that I ended the chat AND call. I went to push ahead and it gave me the form again. 7th Expert after copying a pasting this on a laptop chat (below the message that came from their search bar) This expert told me this is an IRS issue, not turbo tax, and that Kansas is not accepting any returns right now and I cannot file my taxes. Wasted so much time and them making me think I was doing something wrong, even tho I have been filing with Turbo Tax for over 10 years now.
Why am I getting a Form K-40SVR error when reviewing my Kansas state taxes?
Some TurboTax customers may experience an error when completing their Kansas state return. When selecting Review state, you may see Check this Entry and Form K-40SVR: Appraised Property Value should be entered.

I am having this issue as well. Deleted the form using the delete forms button and resubmitted my return, only for it to be re-denied. I go to look at why, and magically, the same document is back. Frustrating.
OP here...I put a zero value into this Kansas K-40SVR form, and then printed out the return. This Kansas K-40SVR form was not printed. I evaluated this Kansas return, and saw no errors. Then, I sent by US Mail the printed forms to Topeka.

TurboTax is requiring unqualified taxpayer to complete the K-40SVR
There’s currently an issue where TurboTax is showing an error related to Form K-40SVR (Appraised Property Value). TurboTax is requiring unqualified taxpayers to complete the K-40SVR.
TurboTax is working on a fix. As a workaround, you should enter a zero for the appraised value when you see the error.
This will not impact the accuracy of your return. No credit is being calculated and the form is not part of the return.
It would be wonderful if TT can hire Tax Experts with Software Degrees like myself.
On the K-40svr form, When I put 0 into the amount box and turn my taxes in, Kansas rejects my taxes and I’m back to where I started. So dumb. Need help asap!!!!
