My CA state return was rejected due, apparently, from a Turbo tax software problem. I was told in the Turbo Tax email I received that I would get support to correct the issue. I opened my return and said I wanted to amend it (big mistake). I tried to make amendments, but now I get a message that I can't file electronically but must mail my return. I paid $40 + $20 = $60 (to turbo tax just to file my State return. What the sam hill is happening? This is highway robbery. Where is the help I was told I would receive? This is unacceptable!

I received a message from you that my California tax return had been rejected due to an error in your software. I cannot find anyone to call as to direction. Has this already been fixed? (I cannot fix your software) What do I do next?? I have used TurboTax for 20 years. Not happy when there are glitches and no one to contact. I also get conned into purchasing the protection plan due to the fact that it is not friendly in taking my credit card. So all the extra charges and here I am not knowing what to do next. This is frustrating - a good way to lose customers. It seems to me if you caused the problem you should give better instructions or just re-e-file it??? Is this going to cost more money?? Have not resolved the problem. I've tried to resubmit several times and I get a message that I have to mail in my return. This is not acceptable since I have paid $60 ($40 for the State software and $20 for an electronic refund) for my State return alone after paying $40 for my Federal return (the so called FREE Turbo Tax return). What a scam!!
