TurboTax Home and Business 2020 is not allowing me to download my free state for Maryland. It checks for updates and says everything is up to date but then does not download the state

I am also unable to download Maryland and have tried 6 times. All I get is a white screen with a button at bottom to close. If you click on that it goes away with nothing downloaded

I am having exactly the same problem trying to download the State of Virginia...it returns a blank window with a "Close" on the lower right corner. When "Close" is pressed the message says: "Error downloading your Turbotax product. The state product for Turbotax could not be downloaded. Please try again later"

Are there different specific instructions for Mac users?
If your license code for our Mac product download specified "TurboTax Desktop (version name) with state", and you have activated the download, you should be able to go to the State section and download the free state.
Once you have downloaded your free state, the button in the State section will say "Purchase State" in case you need to purchase another state.
