Washington state does not have an income tax, therefore TurboTax does not have a Washington state return option.    It does appear that WA has recently adopted legislation to put a tax on those with income over $1,000,000, but this would not be in effect for 2025.

No, not at all. The amended return can be filed by mail which is completely acceptable.   @taxqn24
Thanks for responses. Makes sense for 2025. Don't understand your response for 2026. If i move all money from traditional IRA to 401k, then 2026 conversion should be non-taxable, right?

If you need to submit a payment to the state, make your check or money order to your state's Department of Revenue. When you print your return, TurboTax will include the mailing address and instructions on how to mail your return.   You could also choose to make a payment online at your state's Department of Revenue website.

At the screen Choose Type of Activity, select Business - Box 1. How do your specific details differ?  Please clarify.

Return of excess IRA contribution is being reported on line 1h. Is that the right place?  From what I have researched these should be reported on either line 4a or line 8.  However, on the 1040 Line 1 worksheet it does contain this info:   i Items from Form 1099-R: 1 a Disability before minimum retirement age     b Return of contributions

I'm trying to file my MD Partnership return.  I keep getting "oops something is wrong try again."  I've removed the state using the clean up tool.  I've uninstalled the system then reinstalled.  Still have an issue.  Based on the update, the latest release was 2/20/2026.  It appears to be an issue in prior years and a late update.  Has anyone had any issues filing 2025 partnership returns?  Is there a way to update the state release or just wait for TurboTax to do it?

If you do not receive tax return acceptance within 24 hours, do not panic. It is normal for returns to remain "pending" for 24–72 hours. This delay is often caused by high volume, weekends, or refundable credits (EITC/ACTC). Returns filed wait for the IRS to actually retrieve them for acceptance.   It is not unusual for your return to stay in pending status for several days sometimes longer depending on the back log of returns filed and time it takes for the IRS to process them. Keep checking the IRS Where’s My Refund? for possible updates.
To clarify: what resident state tax return are you filing?

Thanks @DaveF1006 for taking a look at this. I am already following your best practices recommendations (4).  About (3), I am working to create another entity for one of the properties to keep one LLC per property, but that will be done in a couple of months. About (2) (form 1040, Sched E), for some reason Turbo Tax is not allowing me to put the same entity in both rentals, because in the las one I put data in is generating the issue I posted. Any ideas why is this happening in Turbo Tax and how can I fix it?   Thanks again

The first step in requesting a correction is to examine a diagnostic tax file experiencing the situation.  You can provide a diagnostic copy of your tax data file so that someone here can take a closer look.  The diagnostic file will not contain personally identifiable information, only numbers related to your tax forms.     If you would like to provide us with the diagnostic file, follow the instructions below and post the token number along with which version of TurboTax you are using and what states you are filing in a follow-up thread.  It would be helpful to have a screenshot of the token number to prevent it from being redacted.   Use these steps if you are using TurboTax Online:   Sign in to your account and be sure you are in your tax return. Select Tax Tools in the menu to the left. Select Tools. Select Share my file with agent. A pop-up message will appear, select OK to send the sanitized diagnostic copy to us. Post the token number here.    If you are using a CD/downloaded version of TurboTax, use these steps:   Select Online at the top of the screen. Select Send Tax File to Agent. Click OK. Post the token number here.
To clarify, is her income from working or retirement income?
@MelindaS1 the program just keeps reasking me to correct, will not move past and let me submit.
@MelindaS1 The program just keeps reasking for the corrections to be made and continues to block me from filling.
