My wife is a foreign national receving income in the USA and paying taxes on her income. Previously I was advised to enter her tax information into TT using substitute 1099-R to create a substitute form 4852 but this option does not appear in 2026 Home and Business Mac, at least a far as I can see. What should I do?

TurboTax Mac usually requires you to start as if you have a standard 1099-R before it allows you to flag it as a substitute.
To clarify, is her income from working or retirement income?
Thank you for responding. I should have mentioned it is retirement income.
