This rejection happens when your clean vehicle VIN ("Vehicle Identification Number") does not match the IRS data for the Clean Vehicles sold :
VIN is incorrect (Rejection code F8936-030-01)
Your tax ID and VIN do not match in the IRS database (Rejection code F8936-046)
The credit type claimed and the amount entered on the Schedule A of Form 8936 is not matching the IRS database (Rejection code F8936-0047)
The purchase date is inconsistent with the IRS database (Rejection code F8936-048).
Please follow these steps:
Check the report that you received from the dealer and make sure it is correct and matches what you have entered on your tax return. Dealers who sell vehicles eligible for a used (previously owned) vehicle credit under IRC 25E must furnish a report to the buyer at the time of sale and also to IRS for those vehicles to be eligible for a credit under IRC 25E
Contact the dealer and make sure that they provided the correct information to the IRS and/or that they did provide the sale information to the IRS.
If you can prove that number 1 and 2 are true and the IRS still rejects your tax return, you will have to print and mail the return. You will also need to send proof that proves you got the credit.

The data-sharing consent forms are located in Step 3, of the last process of the Review and File Section. Some documents are required to be signed if you want to file electronically (e.g., you need to have your tax information shared with the IRS). See the steps below to get to that screen:
From your TurboTax Online home screen select Review and File, and then click on Finish and File.
You will see 3 Steps to complete your e-filling process. Share consents are located within Step 3.
Here are some steps you can take to change your other data sharing permissions if desired:
Email Privacy Team: Send an email to privacy@intuit.com stating: "I am revoking my consent for Intuit to use or disclose my tax return information for any purpose other than the preparation and filing of my tax return".
Intuit Account Manager: Sign in to your account, select Data Privacy, and toggle off "Data used for Intuit products" or "Personalized experiences".
Household Data Sharing: In the Turbo app or web, go to View Profile, click or tap the person under "Household," and select Revoke access.
Consult Intuit's Privacy Policies for the most accurate and up-to-date information

It might be better for you to seek local paid tax help in a situation when you are several years behind in filing your tax returns. Do you even have all of the documents you will need to enter and show your income—like your W-2’s and any 1099’s?
You cannot change the tax year. The current online program is for 2025 only. Only a 2025 return can be prepared online and only a 2025 return can be e-filed.
Online preparation and e-filing for 2022, 2023, and 2024 is permanently closed.
Note: The desktop software you need to prepare the prior year return must be installed/downloaded to a full PC or Mac. It cannot be used on a mobile device.
To file a return for a prior tax year
If you need to prepare a return for 2022, 2023, or 2024 you can purchase and download desktop software to do it, then print, sign, and mail the return(s)

You may also want to explore purchasing the software from various retailers such as Amazon, Costco, Best Buy, Walmart, Sam’s, etc.
Remember to prepare your state return as well—if you live in a state that has a state income tax.

Refunds for tax years 2021 or earlier have been forfeited and will not be paid to you even if shown on the tax return form. But if you owe tax due, you will still have to pay, and you will be billed later for the interest and penalties owed. TurboTax will not calculate the penalties or interest. That will be done by the IRS/state after they receive your return with your payment of the tax due as shown on the tax form(s).
When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.
Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses. Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.

I'm afraid I can't help with that. You may need technical support. I also don't know why form 8615 got introduced, you hadn't previously mentioned her having unearned income. If a portion of the 1099-Q earnings is taxable, that would be unearned income.

This TurboTax message means the IRS has already received a tax return using your Social Security number (SSN) for the current tax year. This usually happens due to a technical glitch, such as a double submission, a previously accepted return, or an attempt to claim a dependent already claimed by someone else.
What To Do Next:
Check Status: Log in to your TurboTax account to check if your previous attempt actually shows as "Accepted".
Do Not Refile Immediately: If the IRS has it, you do not need to retransmit.
Check Dependents: Verify that no one else (like an ex-spouse) has already claimed your child or dependent.
Mail Paper Return: If the IRS has no record of your return but you still cannot e-file, you may need to print and mail a paper return.
Identity Theft Alert: If you did not file a return earlier, this could indicate tax identity theft.
If you are a victim of identity theft, you may need to fill out IRS Form 14039, Identity Theft Affidavit.

Go to Less Common Income, then Prizes, Awards, and Gambling winnings. Select I didn't receive a w-2G. Enter the amount from Box 3 of your 1099-misc, and on the next screen you will be able to enter your losses. You will need to keep clear records of your winnings and losses, especially since your gambling winnings were reported on the wrong form.
The gambling interview first asks about gambling on W-2G, then it will ask about Other gambling income (not on W-2g). You can enter your 1099 amount there so it gets reported as gambling.

I am assuming this is for NY, as NY is very particular about the document entry. Enter the first 3 characters after, not including "IDUSA". Some other users experienced errors with incorrect issue and expiry dates, so double check they are correct and not swapped as well.
For more information, see Where do I find my document number so that I can e-file my New York return?
If you need extra time, filing an extension by April 15, 2026, moves your submission deadline to October 15. But remember any taxes owed are still due in full by the original April 15 date.
