I highly recommend that people file a complaint with their State Attorney General's Office. The sleazy underhanded way that Intuit/TurboTax is forcing people into an option they don't want is certainly unethical and likely illegal as well.   MA State Attorney General Office:   https://massago.hylandcloud.com/251appnet/UnityForm.aspx?key=UFKey   National Office of Attorney Generals is:   https://www.naag.org/our-work/center-for-consumer-protection/consumer-file-a-complaint/

The TurboTax Easy Extension Tool may be found here.     Be aware that the final entry may say Transmit my returns now, even though the extension is being transmitted and not a tax return.

It takes the IRS a few days to debit accounts.   From the IRS FAQ page >  To verify your payment was processed successfully, check your online tax account two business days after the date you scheduled the payment to be withdrawn from your bank account.  Your online tax account will indicate whether a payment attempt was rejected.  If the payment is still listed as "Pending," check back after three more business days to see if the payment was returned or reversed. If it was, you can try submitting it again to avoid interest and penalties.   In the event your financial institution releases the funds prior to the date specified in your electronic payment request to the IRS, contact your financial institution for additional information.   You can also check with your bank after two business days to make sure the payment went through. If your bank confirms your payment was processed, but it does not appear in your IRS online account, contact us by phone.

But remember any taxes owed are still due in full by the original April 15 date. @matheus2001silva

If sold CDs you enter them the same way, in the same section that you enter stocks, bond, mutual funds, etc.  The program doesn't give a a complete list.  Perhaps it should say "and other investments", but it doesn't.  You enter most all investments sales in that section, whether on a 1099-B or not.

Your parents are eligible to claim you if you are a student and they provide more than half of your support you up to when you are 24 years old.  If they were supposed to claim you, then you can mark in the My Info section in TurboTax that you are a dependent of someone else, and file your return.     If they were not supposed to claim you, you can electronically file your return, you  must include an IP PIN.  Per the IRS, If your are under 18 or cannot setup an ID.me account you can submit Form 15227, Application for an Identity Protection Personal Identification Number online. The phone number provided on the form will be used to contact you to verify your identity before an IP PIN can be issued.   Once you get it, see the steps below to enter it on your return:   Open your return Go to IP PIN On the Identity Protection PIN screen, answer Yes. Select Add and enter your IP PIN in the space provided. Select Continue, then select Done.

Same issue as many others.  I did 98% of my tax return a week ago and saved it.  On a windows 11 PC, used the Premier download.  Today I tried to go in and update, and the 2025 return is not there!!!  Looked in TT help, and TONS of people are having the same issue.  No answer or solution from TT.  I've tried the recommended searches, recycle bin, etc.  NOTHING IS THERE.  Guess I have to start over, and taxes are due today.  Fortunately, I don't think I owe...  This is ridiculous that we are getting no help from TurboTax.
Yes, it is. Go to this IRS website for the CP53E notice - https://www.irs.gov/individuals/understanding-your-cp53e-notice
