While many tax documents arrive by January 31, some brokerages delay consolidated 1099 statements (like 1099-B) until mid-February due to account complexity. If your data isn't ready to import yet, check back in a week or two.   If you are using TurboTax Online, try importing using a different browser. Make sure any VPN or Anvi-Virus is turned off.   See the following TurboTax Help articles for potential fixes: What if I can't import my 1099? How can I fix my 1099 import issue? How do I import my 1099s? How do I enter a large number of stock transactions in TurboTax?

@SJ29 There is not a manual update for a Mac.   Suggest you uninstall and reinstall the TurboTax program.

After you enter form 1099-R, if you have entered a birth date which makes you older than 70 1/2 in the tax year, TurboTax will ask you if any portion of your distribution was transferred to charity. You can then enter the amount transferred to charity.  So be sure to keep going through all the follow up pages and questions.

To deduct 529 contributions on your Pennsylvania return, please follow the steps below: Enter your Pennsylvania return. Continue through the screens until you reach 529 Contributions. Answer Yes to the question, Did you make a 529 contribution in 2025? Enter the required information on the next screen. Pennsylvania allows a maximum deduction of $19,000 per beneficiary, per taxpayer for 529 Tuition Account Program contributions made in 2025 to a Pennsylvania 529 Tuition Account Program or another state's 529 College Savings Plan.   I completed a mock return as a Pennsylvania resident and was successfully able to deduct 529 contributions. If you have any further questions, please let us know and we will further assist you.
February 13 is the latest ETA that I have seen. It does not seem unreasonable to me, given that many institutions don't have their 1099s ready for import until mid-February.
After you complete entry of the Form 1099-R there will be a series of screens.  One of these will ask you to indicate that there is QCD.  Another will ask you the amount of the QCD.

Several things to consider...about NM.   1)   Probably a slip, but you indicated that box 16 was ten NM state ID number.....it isn't... it is the NM wages.  The NM state ID number is in the second half of box 15.   2)   The NM military member's  DOD wages are not taxed by NM, but if y'all had other investment income from Interest, dividends or investments, then those $$ are taxed by NM,   3) Did you, as the non-military member, have any income for 2025.  If you were also aligned with your Military spouse as a NM resident, then that income is taxable by NM.   4)  Yes, a refund would be unusual based on what you've said.  Double check, by editing, any tax forms you entered.  Look to make absolutely sure that the state withholding boxes in those forms are empty.  If you uploaded ANY tax form by taking a picture, or uploading a PDF file....those forms of entry are subject to MASSIVE errors, because the AI that interprets  that picture or PDF makes mistakes.  Every box of the form entered that way MUST be double-checked by Editing the form.....also to answer any follow-up questions that are not answered by the simple upload process.   Manual entry of a form and its boxes is usually safer (yeah, personal opinion).

Import is also not working for LPL Financial. I have used Turbo Tax for years and never had a problem. Now it says that the import worked and that I need to review the data. But each time I click on a 1099 from my import, it again takes me to import screen. I tried deleting the first import and reimporting.  I tried restarting Turbotax.  No help.  I think Import is broken.  Am I reading this thread correctly that TurboTax doesn't think this is broken?

I'm running into this problem as well. It seems that the workaround that says:    If you want to link to your business, don't indicate the policy was allocated in your 1095-A entry.   Should also say that you should multiply your numbers by the allocation percentage and just leave the shared policy allocation section blank.  Is that accurate?   I would think that what is important is that the premium numbers between the shared parties need to add up.
