If you are getting an error regarding "Covid Disaster Recovery" you can try deleting Form 8915-F if one is listed. Sometimes it is carried forward from a prior tax year.
To delete this worksheet, you can try the steps listed below.
If you are using TurboTax Online, you can try:
Go to "Tax Tools" in your left panel of your TurboTax screen, then
Select "Tools" and
Under "Other Helpful Links"
Select "Delete a Form."
This will bring up all of your forms and you can click on "Delete" next to the Form 8915-F.
If you are using TurboTax Desktop, you can try:
Click on the "Forms Icon" on the top right of your screen to bring up "Forms Mode"
Choose "Form 8915-F" from the list of forms in the left panel of your TurboTax screen
3. Use the "Delete Form" option at the bottom of the worksheet to remove the worksheet
Select "Yes" to confirm deletion of the form
Click here for How Do I View and Delete Forms in TurboTax Online.
You can also go back through your Form 1099-R entries and make sure you did not select "I took this money out due to a qualified disaster" on the TurboTax screen that says, "Do any oof these situations apply to you?"
You can easily get to these screens in the TurboTax program by clicking on "Search" in the top right of your TurboTax screen and typing "Form 1099-R" in the search box. Then click on the link "Jump to Form 1099-R." Continue through your screens until you get to the screen "Do any of these situations apply to you?"
You may need to clear your tax return and start over to clear this error message. Click here for How do I clear and start over?

The tool on Healthcare.gov has become active since you posted your question and does include 2025. Column B of Form 1095-A asks you to enter the second lowest cost Silver plan (SLCSP) premium amounts. To find the second lowest cost Silver plan premium amounts for you, use this tool at Healthcare.gov. The software won't accept zeroes in Column B.
For more information on Form 1095-A, please see this TurboTax tips article and this help article.

I have a phobia about having the Vouchers turned on. However, I Googled request to turn off the vouchers in current edition of Turbo Tax and was directed to the Forms --> Estimated Tax Payment Options and there in the Estimated Tax Form is a box that can be marked and box has title "No, Do not prepare vouchers..." So, yes the creation of vouchers can be turned off (via Forms) just as in prior years versions of Turbo Tax.

I filed me 2024 taxes with you, both federal and State of Alabama on April 14, 2025. I paid you $143 because I know it was last minute. I need a copy of these and now I can't find them on my account. I have a receipt number if someone would call me, I don't want to post it here. Or send me a link where I don't have to talk your stupid auto answer and we can get the fixed ASAP. I can not file my 2025 without it.

I'm using TurboTax Desktop Advantage for Business 2025, downloaded directly from TurboTax in mid January. Having some - what I think are - common issues completing an 1120-S return for my S-Corp. Tried calling the number provided on my e-mail confirmation for dedicated TurbTax Advantage phone support: (888) 777-4160 (number restored). I'm in the midst of a 3-day, 4-call ordeal that's pretty surprising in the extent of the ineptitude a company like Turbotax has exhibited in providing even the base level of customer support - like getting me to an agent who knows what he's doing. Seems pretty basic to me, but somehow Turbotax continues to fail at every turn.
My journey:
1) First call landed at the desk of an agent who apparently was taking care of his children simultaneously with answering phones on behalf of Turbotax. After he asked me to repeat my first name three times and answered with "What?" when I described my problem - all the while with a shrieking baby audibly within my earshot - I hung up.
2) Second call to the dedicated line. Wait time is 40 minutes. I get offered a call back by the "first available agent." I accept the offer. After 48+ hours, no callback.
3) Third call. Finally get an agent who seems knowledgeable, or so I thought. After explaining my issue, he puts me on hold for three minutes and returns with another phone number for me to call because he can't answer questions about Turbotax Desktop for Business. Or so he says. The number he gives me is supposedly for the business unit of Turbotax who supports the product I'm using. I ask if he can simply forward me to that group with a warm hand-off. He says that for some reason, the Turbotax support phone system isn't allowing him to do that. OK. Here's why: the number he gives me: [phone number removed], is for the general IRS Business Tax support line. Not even related to Turbotax.
4) Fourth call. I'm still waiting on hold after 35 minutes - actually, 62 hours and 35 minutes after the first call - to get my simple question answered.
Anyone have any ideas how to work through this byzantine and shockingly amateurish system?

Thanks for your prompt reply. Two things to follow up: 1. Can I amend it to 1040NR instead of taking the first year choice? Is that an option since I never told I want to take the first year choice? 2. Confirming what you said in (4) - If I do take the first year choice (properly), I need to fill a 1040NR (for wages from Jan to oct when I changed to h1 from f1) + 1040 (the 31day period starts from oct 1 to dec31). And I will also need to file FBAR if needed (I will not have to file FBAR if I instead dont do first year choice).

Some info if you both used Turbo Tax last year. You can not transfer from or combine 2 returns or accounts. Just pick the return for the spouse that has the most complicated return to enter or has any depreciation or business or more investments. Or use the account/return for whoever you want to be listed first going forward (by the way you can not change the order of the names). Then add the other spouse's name, ssn and info to it. But if you want to keep the prior accounts separate from the new Joint account then start a new account. Online is only good for one return per account. But you can use the same email address for 5 accounts.

Yes a major issue and there are many posts about it. As of this writing it does not appear that TurboTax is planning to address or resolve it according to the responses of an employee in this post - where they removed that ability [this year] by design:

I encourage you to add any comments in that post.
The workaround for now is to go into the forms view. I outlined the steps to use the forms view in that post. Please note that the post is still fresh so maybe (long shot) something will change, but personally I highly doubt it this late. Good luck

Same here. When I did return a few days ago it was fine. Now blank page on K-1s. Afraid to e-file in case it is blank to IRS. Hoping a update from Turbo Tax will fix this soon.

This is now fixed but you will need to follow these steps to generate the form and fix your rejection: Sign in to your TurboTax Online account and select Fix my return. Select Federal from the left menu, then Deductions & Credits. Scroll down to Charitable Donations and select Revisit next to Donations to Charity in 2025. You must review each non-cash donation entry. For any donation or group of similar items over $500, ensure you have provided: The organization's name and address. A description of the property. The date you acquired it and how (e.g., purchase, gift). Your cost or basis and the Fair Market Value (FMV). Once you provide these details, TurboTax will automatically generate Form 8283. If the form still does not appear in your Tax Summary: Go to Tax Tools > Tools > Delete a form. Check if there is a "ghost" Form 8283 or Charitable Contribution Worksheet that is blank. Delete it. Go back to the Donations section and re-enter the details for the specific high-value items. This forces the software to re-trigger the form creation. Once corrected, proceed to the File section to resubmit your federal return. @TaxD439 @user17700565645 @Joddea2008 @briannehebert @freeskier989

If you choose to upgrade furnishings or appliances during this time, you would report those as Improvements for depreciation. Note that you can expense certain improvements under the Safe Harbor Election. See this article for more information: What can I expense or depreciate with the business safe harbor election?

I was on the phone two reps and a supervisor for over four hours yesterday. Nothing worked in these sessions. Your team closed the case (ending in 36516) and it is still unsolved. That is poor customer service. In addition- when I paid for this partnership- you did not attach the download to my TT account which has the purchase and the word download but no download icon as in previous years. Extremely frustrated- you should get the team working on this issue. I will continue to call every day.

Absolutely! This was a management decision, not a coder's decision. And I think this is instructive as to Intuit's attitude about their customers. I think many people will abandon TT even after they get a machine that will run Windows11. After all, what other user hostile decisions will be made in the future similar to this one? Burn me once, shame on you.. Burn me twice, shame on me.
