You should have received a 1099-R for the amount withdrawn from your IRA.  After you enter your 1099-R details in TurboTax, you'll get to a screen titled "Do any of these situations apply to you?".  Check the box "I transferred all or part of this money directly to charity", then click Continue.  The next screen will state "How much did [name of IRA custodian] transfer directly to charity?".  Here you can enter the amount that you donated to charity, up to the lesser of the amount of the distribution or $108,000.  This amount will be non-taxable.   The QCD does not get entered again under charitable donations as you have already received a tax benefit for this donation to charity.
I prefer the refund as a check rather than directly to the bank. I gave bank info because I thought it is mandatory. I want to know how to change the refund status back to mailing the check.

Did you e-file a 2022 return and was it accepted?   Check to see what it says in your online TT account for 2022.  Then check to see what is shown on the IRS site for your account with the IRS.     You have to access your own account and/or  print it for yourself using exactly the same account and user ID that you used when you prepared the return.    https://myturbotax.intuit.com/   Start a 2025 return online and enter some personal information  so that the menu on the left opens up and lets you access your past year returns.   https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/prior-year-return/help/how-do-i-access-my-prior-year-return/01/27010     https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/import-export-data-files/save-2021-turbotax-online-return-pdf/L8dHfRkpT_US_en_US?uid=m5y4ch1y   Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them.  Log out of the account you are in now.     https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/account-management/many-intuit-accounts-turbotax/L9aVfKS1Z_US_en_US?uid=ll5g6zcx Account Recovery DID YOU E-FILE?   Did you e-file?   Did you go through all three steps of the FILE section and click a big orange button that said “Transmit my returns now?”     When you e-file your return you will get two emails from TurboTax.  The first one will say your return has been transmitted; the second one will tell you the IRS has accepted  or rejected your federal e-file.  If you filed a state return, there will be a third email (usually a day or two later) that tells you if the state e-file was accepted or rejected.   Check your e-file status:   https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/    What does it say in your account?  Does it show that the 2022 return was accepted?   Or does it say something else---like "rejected," "printed," or "ready to mail?”   If you discover or realize that your e-file was rejected, or just never filed, you will need to print it, sign and date it in ink, and file it by mail now, since e-filing is closed for returns for tax year 2022.     https://www.irs.gov/payments/your-online-account   If you need to trace a payment that the IRS says has been issued to you, mail or fax a completed IRS Form 3911, Taxpayer Statement Regarding Refund.

Uers have reported success in importing by using an incognito window in Chrome or using Firefox.  Be sure your provider account settings allow 'third party access' and you've turned off anti-virus programs.  Clear your Cache and Cookies between attempts.   Remember that the IRS already has copies of all your 1099's.  Using the Summary Method to report is perfectly acceptable.   @sfnd

besides, why would you think it is ok for a company to sell an incomplete product, just because certain people might not need that feature? How about the people that do need it? what if they are leaving for a vacation, or a sabbatical, and they would like to have the comfort of finish the filing in their homes before embarking on a trip?  writing a statement like "i am good as long as before april 15" is extremely selfish and short-sighted

I am unable to import my E*Trade documents. TTax has me login using my E*Trade credentials via a browser but the login fails using the same exact same credentials I use to login to my E*Trade account outside of TTax. I even updated my login credentials within E*Trade and reattempted accessing the documents in TTax, again encountering the same issue saying the credentials are invalid. Manually entering 1099 data in TTax is very time consuming. I hope there is a solution!

My version of this problem seemed to be related to an issue with Adobe Creative Cloud (which is used by TurboTax). Creative Cloud wouldn't initialize. To address this I went into my Apps/Installed apps settings and tried to uninstall Creative Cloud. The system wouldn't let me do this but it did let me run a "Repair" of Creative Cloud. Once this was complete I could successfully start Creative Cloud by itself. I then exited Creative Cloud and ran TurboTax 2025 as Administrator. This time TurboTax started right up. Hope this helps!

You can only deduct up to $2,500 of student loan interest from your taxable income. If the form shows at least that much, enter it on your taxes. If the 1098-E shows less than that, enter the full $2,500 and keep your paper trail of bills paid and your log of calls for backup. Be sure it is just the interest paid and not the principal and interest you are claiming.
I haven't gotten into the form that much yet but are you saying that the 3115 in TT Business for Sub S has a place to enter each asset separately?

You can enter multiple Forms 1099-SA following the instructions listed below.   Click on Search in the upper right of your TurboTax screen: Type "1099-SA" in the search box Click on the link that says "Jump to 1099-SA" Your TurboTax screen will say, "Select the health-related accounts you had in 2025" Click on the type of account you had and click on "Continue" The next screen is your 1099-SA Summary. Click on "Add" in blue to add an additional Form 1099-SA. If this does not work for you then delete your first Form 1099-SA that you entered and then re-enter it. Customers are reporting that this worked when they could not add a form using the add button. It resets the program and then the add button works.   Click here for Where do I enter Form 1099-SA? Please return to Community if you have any additional information or questions and we'd be happy to help.

Thank you for your response. You are correct, my Medicare start date was June 1, 2025 and I had single insurance coverage. I received varying responses about how the excess would be calculated and I did, unfortunately, withdraw the actual amount of contributions from June through December.   So, using the 5/12's method the withdrawal should have been $1591.69. Using the actual contribution method, which is what I used, the withdrawal amount was $1811.55. I made a whopping $34.37 in interest income.    Also, your answer says to be sure to say I didn't have qualifying insurance for the full year. Won't this get me in trouble with the Insurance Marketplace police? If the answer to that is no, then I assume I choose none for the months of June through December?

Go ahead and scroll down and click Continue.   Once you get through all of the subsections in Uncommon Tax Situations, the message should disappear.    The message will not prevent filing, and at the end of that section, you will run the Federal Review to verify this.   Let us know if the message is preventing a successful tax return check.
