I have 6 different web browsers installed but do not understand why I would do anything with them since the software is installed on my PC using a CD-ROM. What browser should I clean if that is truly the correct answer?  I tried calling customer support but the automated system would not put me through to a live person..

This software (Turbotax Business) is not browser based it is a PC download so new expert please.

This error can occur when the date on the computer you're using is incorrect.  Check the date on your computer and re-file your return.

This can also occur if your forms are not ready for e-filing. Check this article to confirm if your forms are ready.

If your computer's date is correct and your forms are ready, uninstall and reinstall TurboTax and then ensure it updates to the latest version.

I didn't try clearing the cache, but I e-filed from a different pc and it worked fine.

I still get the same message on February 17, I cannot file the partner return for NJ state but the federal return went though, With all the money we pay for Turbo Tax that is not acceptable , SHAME ON YOU INTUIT.

I am getting the same error for GA.  I think last year they never were able to file my state partnership taxes and I had to mail them in. Definitely not worth the 300 bucks if they won't even let you efile in a timely manor.  My partners are getting impatient waiting on the K-1s.

I just tried to file federal and Texas S corp returns electronically.  I got an error message that the turbo tax filing season is not open yet.  Texas return is due 3/15 so when can I file?

I get the same thing in NJ.

As a Turbo -employee "specialist" said my computer date was OK, All my forms were OK to e-file, all the program update were OK but I still cannot e-file the State returns only Federal work. So I filed by mail and made a charge back with my credit card for false advertising. I will not use Turbo-Tax anymore I hope the manager who let these obvious bugs will be fired. Why pay good money for such bad product and for a company not able to correct quickly bugs.

I was able to file my partnership return for Federal and GA tonight.  I got a message 5 days ago that the forms were ready so my only complaint is that is only a two week window before they are due.  At least it worked this year! For those who had to print and mail, that is what I had to do last year for GA.. so slow improvement is better than none.   Still not sure its worth the over 200 bucks spent though 😕
