Useless piece if info. Only offers form 1040 and subsequent forms. Try to pay attention. This problem is Intuit gas FAILED to provide the proper software fix for users to prepare and print forms 1099.

   @fl1848   What problem are you having?  The Desktop Home & Business program has been updated to print them.  The Online Quick Employer Forms has been ready for a couple weeks. What version are you using?  Desktop or Online?  Windows or Mac?   You need to use the Windows Home & Business Desktop program to create the forms on your own computer or use the Online Quick Employer Forms QEF.   Try updating your program.   Go up to Online - Check for Updates.

Jan 18 and still not ready. Been using Turbo Tax for years. Called Turbox Tax and was told just have to wait, it’s the IRS problem. not their problem. Unacceptable answer.

Turbo Tax even said that if Jan 31 comes and the form is still not ready to print, deal with IRS. Horrified!!!

Click on Online at the top of the desktop program screen

Click on Check for Updates

I can confirm that after updating my software, 1099 forms are now available in the Home & Business Desktop version.

This is ridiculous. I did go online for 1 personal 1099 filing but doing it again for my more complicated business is unacceptable. My Business is not listed despite being signed-in. Online then wants to take over the preparation of my 1120S. I simply need to prepare and file 1099s. 

When will update for Home & Business and for Business be ready? 

We simply need to prepare and file 1099s. Very dissapointed TurboTax!

I recommend using the IRIS Application for TCC. I was facing the same issue, and with the 1099-NEC deadline approaching for my contractors, IRIS TCC worked great and without any issues. I couldn’t get Home and Business Desktop or Quick Forms to work properly, and I didn’t want to waste more time dealing with buggy software.

The same issue. I use Turbotax desktop on Mac.  The screen for entering SSA-1099 info still not available. Very annoying since I want to get it done, and our info is a little more complicated than most people - really don't want to have to wade though the full form.

I just tested the Form SSA-1099 on my Mac today, February 4th, and it is available and working.

You might try saving and exiting the return, exiting TurboTax and reopening the return. Go back to the Income section and try entering Form SSA-1099.
