If you did not receive your first and/or second stimulus payment or if the amount received is not correct, you can claim it on your 2020 tax return as the Recovery Rebate Credit.
In TurboTax Online, to claim the Recovery Rebate credit please do the following:
Sign into your account and continue from where you left off
Click on Federal in the left-hand column, then on Federal Review on the top of the screen
On the next page titled Let's make sure you got the right stimulus amount, click on Continue
Follow the interview
TurboTax will determine whether you are entitled to any additional stimulus
Any stimulus amount remaining due to you will show as a credit on line 30 of your form 1040.
I wish I had seen this post before I filed my taxes :( . Unfortunately I never received my second stimulus check and now I have to submit form 3911 and mail it. I live in IL and based on some of the info in this thread I should mail the form to:
Department of the Treasury Internal Revenue Service Kansas City, MO |
https://www.irs.gov/filing/illinois-where-to-file-addresses-for-taxpayers-and-tax-professionals
is this correct?
Also for stimulus check what should I enter here
"as in reply to your inquiry on ___ about your Federal tax return for ___"
since this is not related to federal tax return? Thanks in advance for the help.
@UG10 You have the correct address except for the zip code which is 64999-0002.
What is the PHYSICAL ADRRESS for me to send the IRS FORM 3911? I live abroad and hvnt recvd my 3rd EIP and the courier services here will not accept my form without providing a complete physical address. TY
From a foreign country, mail to:
Austin Internal Revenue Service
3651 S Interregional Hwy 35
Austin, TX 78741
or fax to: 855-203-7538
So in all of my searching for a direct answer as to where form 3911 for GA yours was the closest, but USPS says that mailing address doesn't exist... You wrote:
Department of the Treasury, Internal Revenue Service Center, Atlanta GA 3991-0002
Guessing the zip may have been a typo with 4 numbers, but can't verify... Please advise.

As stated on the IRS Form 3911 - https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f3911.pdf
Do not send this form to this office. Instead, please use the envelope provided or mail the form to the Internal Revenue Service center where you would normally file a paper tax return.
Since you live in Georgia the Internal Revenue Service center where you would mail a federal tax return is listed on the IRS website for mailing a Form 1040 - https://www.irs.gov/filing/where-to-file-paper-tax-returns-with-or-without-a-payment
Department of the Treasury
Internal Revenue Service
Kansas City, MO 64999-0002
I need to send a 3911 to Federal IRS. Please give me address
do you get your refund yet?
You should mail the form to the Internal Revenue Service center where you would normally file a paper tax return. To find the mailing address, please select your state from the IRS Where to File Paper Tax Returns With or Without a Payment website.
Refunds usually take about 21 days after the IRS has accepted your e-filed return. Although, sometimes it can take longer. The IRS is taking more than 21 days (and up to 90 to 120 days) to issue refunds for tax returns with the Recovery Rebate Credit, Earned Income Tax Credit and Additional Child Tax Credit. Please see What if my IRS refund is taking longer than 21 days? for more information.
If the IRS has accepted your e-filed return, you can check the status of your refund by going directly to https://www.irs.gov/refunds.
Can I fax. It. If so what's the number please
Forms have to be mailed to the IRS. Please see the information above provided by specialist MoniqueLO_
