TurboTax does not receive feedback from the IRS regarding money that was offset from your refund. If you owed back taxes, child support, student loan debt, etc. you will receive a letter of explanation from the IRS in several weeks. The WMR site will contain a message regarding your offset.

(Be aware also that your Federal refund and state refund do NOT come together)
Did you choose to have TT fees deducted from your Federal refund? (Remember that if you did that, you also agreed to an extra refund processing fee of $39.99)
How can I see my TurboTax fees? https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/2565973
I have the same problem and let me tell you it has NOTHING to do with the offset of the IRS or the Treasury. You all are STEALING people's money and I expect you to FIX IT
I looked up tracking through the IRS and it says that they approved and sent it out as of Feb 26th. I want the other half of my return, I don't have back taxes or anything like that! I need the other half of my return asap! Give me what is due to me, it's not your money!

Unfortunately I have no outstanding debt that can be garnished or offset from my tax return yet I am missing over half of my tax return. I know part of it went to paying your fees (despite not wanting to do premium and not being allowed to use your free option) but that was only $172. I was told I would be getting back over $1400 and got back a little over $600. I'm missing over $700 from my tax return that wasn't garnished. Apparently an accountant friend of mine said he has had multiple clients come in complaining of being shorted by turbotax. Should all of us contact the IRS and a lawyer to find out what is going on?
TurboTax calculates the amount of your refund, or additional taxes owed based on the information that you entered into the program. When the IRS and/or your state receive the returns, they compare what is on the return to what they have in their system for you. When they make adjustments to your return it is to account for the difference in what was reported on the return and what they are showing in their system. You can call the IRS and speak to a tax representative about what was changed on the return and why.
You can also see this Turbo Tax FAQ for information. Why is my direct-deposited refund or check lower than the amount in TurboTax?
A common adjustment is if you claimed the Recovery Rebate Credit on 1040 line 30 when you already got the Stimulus payments or got the second one after you filed or reported the wrong amounts. Do you have an amount on line 30?
I have just found the same issue. Over $1500 is missing - I have no outstanding debts either. How many people have to go through this before it's acknowledged as a problem?

Is the amount sent/issued by the IRS the same as the refund amount shown on your federal tax return Form 1040 Line 35a? - https://www.irs.gov/refunds
If not, then go to this IRS website for information on reduced refunds - https://www.irs.gov/taxtopics/tc203
Have you factored in the TurboTax account fees and the TPG service charge of $40 plus any applicable sales tax?

If you requested to have the TurboTax account fees deducted from your federal tax refund, the IRS will send the refund to a third party processor to have the fees and the service charge deducted. The third party processor will deduct the TurboTax fees plus the service charge and then attempt to direct deposit the remaining refund balance into the account that you entered on your tax return.
For the status of your tax refund you will need to contact the third party processor, Santa Barbara Tax Product Group, using their website - https://www.sbtpg.com/
