Why haven’t I got my tax return back I filed on in February and got accepted on February 10. It is now March 30th 2020 and no one will answer for the irs? I E-filed and direct deposit it. What should I do?

Although most refunds are processed within 21 days of acceptance, some returns require additional review which causes a delay in processing. Please see Why do some refunds take longer than others? for more information.

I'm having the same issue.  I sent the IRS the forms they requested and I was told I would receive my tax return in 6-8 weeks. It's past 8 weeks and I still haven't received it, not to mention theirs no way to even contact the IRS.

I clicked on that link and I still didn't see any information in reference to my tax return issue. I've been all over the IRS.GOV website researching about my issue and there's just no information about it.

@4u2, Unfortunately, TurboTax has no authority to access your return with the IRS. We have no access to their systems, nor does any other tax preparation service. We provide the software to complete and file your return, but once it's accepted, we receive no further updates for the tax return. The only suggestion I can make is to continue checking the status of your return on www.irs.gov/refunds. Continue to monitor the IRS website to see when they open their phone lines back up. What forms were you required to send to the IRS? If you could share some more details, we will try to assist the best we can.

I've attempted to check my refund status and it says the information does not match even though I went back and checked the information myself multiple times (which matches perfectly fine) I cannot pinpoint my return or the status.

Please try calling the WMR automated hotline instead: 1-800-829-1954 or visit the IRS website.    

Sometimes tax returns can disappear from WMR while they are being processed.

I think it’s CRAP that TurboTax is still pulling money from my bank just because my return is being reviewed. I don’t have extra money just laying around that is why I asked for you guys to pull it from my return! I think you guys should have to wait just like I have to!
