None.
Please explain what do you want to scan? You can import from a program like Quicken or QuickBooks. You can import 1099 forms from your bank or broker etc. You might be able to import your W2 or take a picture of it.
Yeah that’s correct https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/entering-importing/help/how-do-i-take-a-picture-of-my-w-2-in-the-m...
I can scan the W2 why can’t I do that for say a schedule K1
For a K-1? You can only import a K-1 to the Desktop CD/Download Software, not to Online version and only if you can get a .txf file for it and in the right format. Apparently you can only import K-1s for MLPs and not Trusts or Estates. You can not import a K-1 from Turbo Tax Business Program.
I won’t believe this is a technological limit, that somehow scanning software can’t take printed text next to line numbers. So is this a liability thing on Intuit’s part because if a mistake is made in the process the liability is theres. Is this a law that prohibits tax preparation companies from offering this feature. This is just data entry why isn’t there a feature to take care of this.
Sorry but not even Professional Tax Programs have the ability to scan a K-1 form ... it is not possible at this time.
