Did you speak to the IRS, or does this IRS WMR tool says the funds have been sent?

https://www.irs.gov/refunds

In either case, if the IRS has actually sent the funds, the IRS says to allow up to 5 days due to variations in bank processing procedures and times.

However, there may be another link in the chain if you used the following service:

Did you have any TurboTax fees that you chose to pay out of the Federal refund?  If so, the funds go first from the IRS to a temporary account at an intermediary bank where the fees are subtracted.   Then that intermediary bank sends the rest of the funds on to your bank (or card.)   If you used that method to pay fees, and if the IRS has actually released the funds, you can check on the funds at the level of the intermediary company (SBTPG).

If that is your situation--i.e., if you DID choose to pay TurboTax product fees out of your Federal refund--then here's how to check on it at SBTPG's website using the SBTPG refund lookup tool.

To log in, choose the "For taxpayers" portal at:
https://www.sbtpg.com/

SBTPG also has a phone contact page at the following link. It also shows their business hours.  Even when they are closed, you may be able to get automated info, or you can log in as above.

Mine says that the amount has been deposited on 3/23; today is 4/7 and I still do not have a deposit. The bank has no record showing that they have tried to deposit either. I received my State refund, so my acct information was input correctly in Turbo Tax.  What else can I do to locate my refund?

"Mine says...."

What is the "mine?"  We don't know what you are looking at.  Does that refer to the IRS "Where's My Refund" tool?

https://www.irs.gov/refunds

Was your refund supposed to go directly from the IRS to your bank account (or card?)   Or did you have any TurboTax fees that you chose to pay out of the Federal refund?  If you paid your fees that way, the funds go first from the IRS to a temporary account at an intermediary bank where the fees are subtracted.   Then that intermediary bank sends the rest of the funds on to your bank (or card) in a second direct deposit.   If you used that method to pay fees, and if the IRS has actually released the funds, you can check on the funds at the level of the intermediary company (SBTPG) using the SBTPG refund lookup tool.

To log in to their refund tool, choose the "For taxpayers" portal at:

If needed, SBTPG also has a phone contact page at the following link. It also shows their business hours.  Even when they are closed, you may be able to get automated info, or you can log in as above.

IRS says it was direct deposited 4/6. I contacted my bank on 4/11.  They did not see it anywhere in progress.

How do I track down where my refund is?

There may be another link in the chain that you can check in the meantime if you used the following service:

Did you have any TurboTax fees that you chose to pay out of the Federal refund?  If so, the funds go first from the IRS to a temporary account at an intermediary bank where the fees are subtracted.   Then that intermediary bank sends the rest of the funds on to your bank (or card.)   If you used that method to pay fees, and if the IRS has actually released the funds, here's how to check on the funds at the level of the intermediary company (SBTPG).   If you paid upfront and did NOT use that service then the following won't apply to you.

If you DID use that method to pay fees, you can log in to your temporary account at SBTPG and, hopefully, see the status of your funds.

I'm not sure what you mean by that first sentence.

If the IRS has approved and sent your refund, then the IRS "Where's My Refund" tool should tell you when it was sent, and when you "should" receive it.

https://www.irs.gov/refunds

It can take up to 5 days after the IRS sends it, but shouldn't take 2 weeks.

Was your refund supposed to go directly from the IRS to your bank account (or card)?   Or did you choose to pay any TurboTax fees out of the Federal refund?    If you DID choose to pay any fees out of it, it goes through a third-party bank first.  If that's your situation, we can tell you how to check on the refund at the level of the third-party company SBTPG who handles that fee payment method.

If you did NOT choose to pay any fees out of the Federal refund, could you have chosen to send it someplace other than your bank account, such as a debit card account, or a brokerage account?

Do you know when I will receive my taxes

@Pchartier16

First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:

https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/

Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control.  TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 35a of your 2021 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

https://www.irs.gov/refunds

To track your state refund:

https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1899433-how-do-i-track-my-state-refund

https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1901548-why-do-some-refunds-take-longer-than-others

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.
