If u had the wrong account they will send it back to the IRS .. and the IRS will then issue a check which cud take 5 weeks
I was suppose to get my refund money today it says it’s here on turbo tax but I still yet to get it on my cash app bank card
@Qjjohnson23 Well just give a couple days b4 u panic.. I had to wait eight days before my money hit after the irs claimed they released them.. The IRS website is flawed .. the IRS had said this many times .. even more since b4 Covid .. if u filed children they didn’t even start processing refunds till Feb 24th .. so just wait it out for a couple days and check again
Yes I figured it out it was an error that I made on the account I picked. The bank sent it back so im guessing they will issue me a paper check then? That I’ll receive by mail? I’ve had this happen before but yearssss back.
@Qjjohnson23 TurboTax gives you an estimated date for your refund, but only the IRS controls when you will get your refund. Check on the IRS site.
Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.
You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 35a of your 2021 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.

I contacted my bank and it’s been longer than 5 days and they haven’t received it.

Was your refund to go directly from the IRS to your bank account (or card)? Or did you choose to pay any TurboTax fees out of your Federal refund or had a refund advance?
Does the IRS WMR tool say your refund has been sent and that it's coming by direct deposit?
There may be another link in the chain that you can check in the meantime if you used the following service:
Did you have any TurboTax fees that you chose to pay out of the Federal refund? If so, the funds go first from the IRS to a temporary account at an intermediary bank where the fees are subtracted. Then that intermediary bank sends the rest of the funds on to your bank (or card.) If you used that method to pay fees, and if the IRS has actually released the funds, we can tell you how to check on the funds at the level of the intermediary company (SBTPG).
If that doesn't apply to you, then check your routing and bank account numbers that you entered into TurboTax in case there was an entry error.
Or could you have chosen for your deposit to go to a brokerage account?
Its been over 5 days and bank still can't see my refund

Or did you by any chance happen to choose to deposit it to a brokerage account?
What if it's saying refund sent however NetSpend will not do anything to assist with the situation they keep saying it will automatically be rejected by there system within 6 days however it was sent to my account on Feb 24th it has been well over 6 days yet they act like they can not see that information and there is no way of telling where the money is

Did you choose to get your Federal refund deposited to a pre-existing NetSpend Card?
And this IRS tool says your refund has been sent?
Did you have any TurboTax fees, and if you did, did you pay them upfront, or did you choose to pay the Turbotax fees out of your Federal refund?

Choose the "For taxpayers" portal at the SBTPG website:
https://www.sbtpg.com/
If that applies to you, SBTPG also has a phone contact page at the following link. It also shows their business hours. Even when they are closed, you may be able to get automated info, or you can log in as above.

Hello. I am in this exact situation. How can I check on the funds at the level of the intermediary company (SBTPG), like you stated?
