You have to access your own account and/or print it for yourself using exactly the same account and user ID that you used when you prepared the return.

Start a 2024 return online and enter some personal information so that the menu on the left opens up and lets you access your past year returns.
Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them. Log out of the account you are in now.
Or did you use the desktop version of TurboTax? If so, the files are on your own hard drive or any backup device you used like a flash drive.
You can get a free transcript from the IRS or for a fee of $30, an actual copy of your tax return.

SAVE YOUR TAX RETURNS !
EVERY year before mid-October you should save a copy of your tax return as a pdf and print a copy of it for your records. That way you will not be searching online frantically when you need it for a lender, FAFSA forms, your next tax return, etc.
In order to transfer a past year return to the new return you need the tax file
NOTE: TurboTax and the IRS save returns for seven years. Returns older than seven years are purged.
I don't know how to access my 2023 ip pin
Are you trying to e-file your 2024 return, @bowersjeffrey - - If so, you need your 2023 self-select pin OR your 2023 AGI, see below. You do not need both. An IP Pin is not needed to e-file unless the IRS issued one. Most people do not have one.

I don't see any link in TurboTax that says "Your tax returns and documents". I only see "Documents", and my 2023 tax return isn't located there. Please advise!
Do you maybe have multiple TurboTax accounts?
Here is how you find your 2023 return: Find 2023 Return
If you need help accessing your account, see this FAQ: Access your TurboTax Account
I need to obtain copies my 2023 tax returns that I completed on line.
To access your tax returns (current or prior year) you will sign into the TurboTax website with the user ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show. Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)
As an alternative for current year return, when you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a State (You will not really be adding a state).
This will take you back in to the 2024 online tax return.
Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Find the Print Center and choose the year you want to print. If you want your full return including worksheets, choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets.
I lost access to pull the copy of my tax return for 2023 from my computer due to retirement in January. I used Turbo Tax online to file my 2023 return, but am using the desktop version to do my 2024 taxes.
Yes
If you used TurboTax Online last year, please see this FAQ for guidance but scroll down to the section applicable to the operating system that applies to you. Also, make sure you are signed in using the same log in credentials that were used last year to prepare your tax return.
