How long did it take for them to mail out the check because I sent in the form last Wednesday on the 20th?
About 8 days
Did you ever receive your check? I submitted the indemnity bond form to Santa Barbara tax group in Feb 28 and called them like a week later and asked if they finished processing my form so I can get new check printed and mailed to me but the lady I spoke too told me that she didnt see anything yet and that they would email me with updates but I never got any updates because fast forward to the day before yesterday I called again and another lady did tell that it got processed and was going to be mailed out yesterday and so yesterday I called them because I wanted to make sure it was sent and the man that spoke to told me it processed and it was going to be mailed out today! Which goes against what the lady told me the day before yesterday. So I am this to see if anyone was in a similar situation because it’s been a while and I’m calling them back later on today to see if it’s mailing out today or are they gonna tell me that it will be sent out tomorrow just playing game that goes in a circle
Yes, I’ve been getting the run around as well. I haven’t received a check. They gave me 3 different mail out dates. They are saying that it was mailed out but the system says it’s processing to be printed. Nobody can give me a tracking number. Nobody will email me back. I told them I wanted it to go back to the IRS and was told there is no ETA for when that will happen because they are still dealing with last years taxes to be sent to the IRS. At this point, I hope turbo tax is fined again for using a fraudulent company.
So have been able to get through to someone higher than the person on the phone like a supervisor? I’m gonna see if they give me another date when I call today but, man, I’m sorry that’s happening I was hoping someone had good news lol the last two people I spoke to told me it was finished processing, processed so I’m gonna check that out with them today. Is there any third party program that helps with these situations sort of like legal counsel that can speed up the process by making some what of a legal threat?
how long did it take you to receive it ? If u don’t mind me asking
I haven’t received anything yet I was told that my check was mailed Tuesday and I called back two more times to confirm that it was mailed Tuesday so now I have to wait.
Yeah me too. I called 4 different times and they all said my check was mailed on 5/12 and to give it til next Friday so I’m just waiting to see.
If you haven’t already I would recommend calling them two more times, just to see if the next two people you speak with can confirm that it was mailed out the 12th. And you shouldn’t mention that the previous person you spoke with said this date, just see what the new person you speak with says. Because two people told me two different dates.
So finally, after waiting 3 months I finally received my check, today. Next year I’ll be making sure my bank account is in order and hope I won’t ever go through this problem, again.
I’m glad you received yours. Mine was mailed out April 7th. Still nothing.
What did you have to do? I'm still waiting on my refund that is shown to have been deposited on May 9 but my bank claimed they never received it. It was sent to an account I don't recognize but I don't know if it was rejected or not. From what others have said the "Where's My Refund?" tool isn't always accurate so hopefully it's on the way but I have no way of knowing.
@gcopelin97 Did you enter incorrect banking information for your refund?
If you entered incorrect banking information for your refund, you can change it if your return is rejected. If it is accepted, however, it is too late to change it. The bank will reject the refund and send it back to the IRS. Then the IRS will issue a paper check and mail it to the address you put on your tax return. Expect a delay of at least a couple of weeks to receive your refund.
Here is what the IRS says about entering incorrect banking information
If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, then the deposit goes back to the third party bank that handles refund processing, and that third party bank will mail you a check. It will come in a plain envelope via first class mail so make sure you open all mail and do not assume anything is junk mail without opening it.
Your tax refund was not sent to TurboTax. TurboTax does not handle your refund at all.
Santa Barbara Tax Products Group, LLC (SBTPG) is the bank that handles the Refund Processing Service when you choose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your refund. This option also has an additional charge from the bank that processes the transaction.
You can contact them SBTPG, toll-free, at 1-877-908-7228 or go to their secure website www.sbtpg.com

I did not enter the account information as it had been saved from my 2020 tax return, which I got the refund for without a problem. But when I looked at it after filing, I did not recognize the account or routing numbers. I don't know whose account was entered or what bank it belongs to.
I'm just trying to find out when the IRS will get the refund back or if the bank it was sent to even rejected it. I have no way of knowing if it was rejected or not.
@gcopelin97 If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your refund the account and routing number you are seeing on the tax form is the banking information for the third party bank that receives your refund first and then sends you the rest after they take out your fees.
What does the IRS refund site show? Does the refund site show that your refund was issued?

Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.
You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 35a of your 2021 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.
