How long after the bank rejects my refund will it take the IRS to issue me a paper check

But I didn't have any fees from Turbo Tax. Everything I used to prepare the tax return was free, so I never used that option.

The IRS website says my refund was deposited into my bank account on May 9th but my bank says they did not receive it.

I spoke with a representative and he confirmed that the refund hasn't been sent back to the IRS yet. It wasn't rejected by the bank it went to either. I've put in a request to trace it but it could take up to 120 days to do so. So as of right now I have no idea where my refund is.

Don’t listen to whatever Turbo Tax tells you. I’ve been lied to since March. Still no taxes. The bank that they use has lied to me and plenty others as well. The bank that they are referring to has not sent my taxes back to the irs and I requested them to do so over a month ago. Turbo tax has turned into a big scam. They are charging for what is considered “free filing”.

Yeah I will likely use another service next year. This is unacceptable. I was recently hospitalized and lost my job as a result so I really needed this money. And now I may not get it for a few more months. This is entirely Turbo Tax's fault as they automatically put a different bank account to send my return to and now it's gone. Never using this service again.

My tax refund Deposit date was July 27th, I called my bank Wells Fargo they said it was sent back to the IRS July 28. So when should I receive my refund in the mail, the irs is purposely not taking calls

@thehotceo Since your bank refused the deposit you will have to wait for a check to be mailed to you.   That will take at least a few weeks.

@Pu3 Ask your state what they do when you provide incorrect banking information.   We know that the bank will return a federal direct deposit to the IRS when you give incorrect information, and then the IRS issues and mails a check to the address on your tax return.   It is likely that your state will do that as well---but contact the state and ask.

I did speak with them in May. They I mean is the Santa Barbara Bank. They said they were going to resend my money to IRS for them to issue me a check. Up till now, they have not done so. I have spent hundreds of hours on the phone trying to get them to do this, but each time, one representative after the other keeps telling me that they are going to send it and I will receive my refund.

Please I know it’s been bout 2 years. I’ll like to know if you later got your check, and how long did it take. I’m having the same issues now. My refund was rejected by my bank and was sent back to the irs on 15/oct. but I haven’t received  my check yet. I tried calling but it doesn’t help much.
