@MD4321 If you are going to be direct debited for your Turbo Tax fees and need an extension, you need to contact customer support by clicking here. Only a representative on the phone can assist with moving the date.

How can I delay my turbo tax fee auto debit ? I still haven't received my return and now TurboTax us gonna auto debit my account

Turbo tax is a rip off.I also started out with the free site and all of a sudden I'm in the pay zone. I have been using TurboTax for 10 years they are getting greedy and careless they don't care about anybody but the money they know they're getting the money because they put a lien on the taxes and now they want to charge people to feed because the IRS is taking long to deliver taxes

They been after us to pay our fee to them also and we haven't received our refund. We filed Feb. 11th. Almost 3 months now. Heard it has to due to any unemployment taxes you paid due to the last stimulus package that biden signed. In that package any taxes paid on unemployment was forgiven and you get all that back if you didn't go over the income, unemployment income limit.

  1. Yes, you are correct. When unemployment is included on the return filed before the 2020 tax law change March 11, 2021, the return must be recalculated. The IRS will do this automatically, but the processing will be delayed.
    1. To find out more than what is at Where's My Refund with your tax return status, create or login to your account: IRS: View Your Tax Account Information
    2. For more information, see: When will I get my IRS tax refund?
  2. Please call us by the Tuesday prior to your debit date 1-888-808-1723 and mention auto-debit. Please see: Why was my bank account auto-debited for TurboTax fees?

How can I delay my turbo tax fee auto debit ? I still haven't received my return and now TurboTax us gonna auto debit my account

We have waited almost 90 days for our refund and every time I check to find out if a date has been given it keeps saying the same thing all the time. You are never able to get the answer you want or need to hear about our refund. No matter what turbo or IRS tells you what to do it's not giving you the answer you need to hear. Which is just more BS.

Sorry that you are having an issue with the IRS.  TurboTax does not issue refunds or Stimulus checks.  TurboTax is a tax preparation platform.  If you have submitted your return to the IRS, then TurboTax is out of the picture.  IRS is forbidden to discuss your information with TurboTax because of privacy laws.  There could be several reasons why you have not received your Stimulus or refund.

How can I delay my turbo tax fee auto debit ? I still haven't received my return and now TurboTax us gonna auto debit my account

I called and had my debit deferred because at that point i was going on two months without receiving my IRS federal refund due to some delay that NO ONE seems to know about. before the payment was to debited again, i called Turbotax to ask them what would happen i still did not receive my texes and TT tried to debit again and she told me to just call about 10 days before the debit and get another deferal. Low and Behold, now TT customer Service said i can't defer again. SO which one is it? and why am i paying you guys when i have not been pain myself? this isnt a case of "insufficient refund" , its an incomplete tax return . are you duping people? or is your service just that crappy that so many users are still waiting for their taxes this year when they applied through your service?

Make sure you are talking to the correct department at the processing bank for this situation ... I cannot find anything where a second delay is mentioned.

About the refund processing service :  https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/charges-and-fees/help/why-was-my-bank-account-auto-debited-for-tur...

We understand that these are unprecedented times and we’re committed to helping our customers who are experiencing hardships. If you’re in need of assistance, call us by the Tuesday prior to your debit date at 1-888-808-1723 to speak with a trained specialist and mention “auto-debit”, or visit TurboTax Support.

When you filed your 2020 tax return, you chose Pay With My Refund, which lets you deduct your TurboTax fees from your IRS tax refund instead of paying them with a credit or debit card.

Per the Refund Processing Agreement, you authorized us to debit your bank account if your refund was insufficient to cover your fees:

In addition, by clicking the "I Agree" button below, you electronically sign and authorize Intuit (through its third party processor) to debit the TurboTax Fees, Additional Products and Services Purchased, and any applicable sales tax from your bank account number identified in the Agreement below, in the event that you do not receive a tax refund that is sufficient to pay for them.

Before we debited your account, you would have received 4 emails from us:

  1. An email with instructions to pay your TurboTax fees (minus the Refund Processing fee, if any) online by a certain date.
  2. Two more follow-up emails asking that you either pay or request a deferment to prevent the fees from being automatically debited from your bank account.
  3. A final email letting you know that we're debiting the fees (minus the Refund Processing fee, if any) and that the auto-debit process cannot be stopped.

You can also be auto-debited if you signed up for Pay With My Refund and your refund is sufficient, but the IRS is still holding your refund 36 days after your original estimated refund date. In this case, you'll get the same email notifications from us, except we will debit the Pay With My Refund fee (if any) in addition to your other TurboTax fees.

I don't know why you can't work with turbo on a second delay. But if you would read some of these post you would know that it's NOT turbo's fault. PLEASE understand it's what the IRS is doing to our returns.
