I can't e-file because it keeps telling me that I need to fix this issue. I moved out of Kentucky and into Ohio during 2021 so I made half of my money while in Kentucky and half while in Ohio. This 740 is only for full-time residents which I was not. Turbo tax won't accept either amounts of income (the amount made in Kentucky and the amount made in Ohio) to let me move on.
When you did the state returns the order in which you do them sometimes creates these problems. The first return you prepare should be the state in which you are no longer a resident. In your case based on the information you provided you should have prepared your Kentucky return first. Then prepare your Ohio return.
My first recommendation would be if you did not enter these returns in this order Kentucky then Ohio.
Run the review again and see if the question pops up again.
If this does not work, you may need to go back to the beginning and follow the steps in this link How do I get credit for taxes paid to another state?
Mine is saying: "Schedule C: Other Expenses amount must not add up to a negative value." The value on that line is -$1, but I don't see why. When I try to override it and change it to $0, it just loops and loops to the same screen. Super frustrating. What can I do?

Leave it blank, do not enter anything.
This does not work only because I can't get the state returns to actually delete. I only have the option to start over so it doesn't delete anything from the list.

What is the TurboTax phone number?
If I click on the Fix Return button it takes me to the mileage figure for rental property, but changing the mileage doesn't correct the problem and I continue to get the same error message over and over.
Fix Federal Return is the exact message.
I click it and get taken back to the mileage number for rental property, but changing the mileage number doesn't fix it, and I am in an endless loop.
If I click on File by Mail, it tells me to fix Federal Return.
I have gone back repeatedly and changing the number doesn't fix anything
Get out of the review and return to the rental property entry. Go back to where you entered the vehicle mileage in the expense section and make sure the number are correct there. There are 2 lines to complete, mileage for the first half of the the year and mileage for the second half. Do you have entries for miles on both lines? @JohnP10
The update for this form( for small businesses and farms) has changed several times and it won’t allow me to file. When will small businesses be able to submit our taxes?
It depends. Which specific form do you need in order to file?
The IRS made updates to Form 8911 Alternative Fuel Vehicle Refueling Property Credit. TurboTax is planning to make additional updates around this by February 21, 2024. Please check back then to ensure you are eligible to receive this credit.
Form 2210-F is also expected to become available on February 21, 2024.
The TurboTax forms availability tool provides the company's best estimate of the date the forms will be ready to use in the program. Programmers need to update TurboTax every time the IRS or a state agency updates a form.
To find out when a specific form is expected to be available, use this tool. Select your TurboTax product, 1040 Individual, and US Federal or appropriate state from the drop-down menus. Enter the form or schedule name in the search box.
It’s the schedule c wages paid. Updating employee credits .
That section is being updated. Please check back in another week, after the current 2/26 expectation. Please check forms availability here. Select online, Windows, or Macintosh from the drop down menu. Whenever the federal and states change a form, we have to as well. This happens throughout tax season.
It keeps directing me to an error on Other Income Statement. I don't have any other income and not sure exactly it is looking for. There is an area labeled Other Taxable Income- TP with a space to enter information.
