Where are you, exactly? What are you trying to pay for?
I am on the page where you pay for filing. I have put in all of my information and am trying to continue to finish filing. The page I'm on shows how much you will pay, if anything, and at the bottom of the page it has a confirm payment button. I keep clicking on that but it won't go forward. I am stuck on that page. I have tried logging out and back in, different browsers on my laptop and phone and nothing is working.
Is this online?
Online filing for the 2022 tax year is closed and filing for the 2023 tax year is not yet open.
You do realize that you cannot e-file yet, right? E-filing for 2023 returns has not yet begun. The IRS will not begin to accept/reject 2023 returns until much later in January.
I am having the same issue. Confirm order button not working and I have tried multiple times on different devices and browsers.
You might be missing some forms. You cannot e-file unless all the forms are ready.

No. I’m not missing any forms for my federal return. According to TurboTax my federal return is ready and they direct me to the confirm order page but when I hit the “confirm” button nothing happens. The IRS is ready to accept on Jan 11th so I need TurboTax to fix this issue.

@Tmc17 Not sure where you got the misinformation that the IRS will begin to accept returns on 1-11. The IRS has not announced a date yet when they will begin to accept e-files. Last year it was on January 23.
That is the information on the TurboTax website. Once I completed by federal return on the site it states IRS will be accepting on Jan 11th. It then tells you to confirm order and then it will be submitted that day. But as I said the confirm button isn’t working. Apparently from what I have read, this is an issue that happened in the past also on the site.
Also, I have been using TurboTax to file the last few years and always submit prior to the IRS acceptance date. Last year I actually had my refund in my account on January 27th.
Interesting......can you give us a screen shot of the TurboTax page that says the IRS will accept e-files 1-11?
Sorry but I don’t have a screenshot as didn’t occur to me to take one. I have been stuck on the confirm order issue since Thursday when I did my return so thats what I need to get taken care of.
I finally figured out what the issue was. For some reason my address was input wrong on the confirm payment page. Once I fixed that it let me go forward. The problem with my address was there was something typed into the second address line so I had to delete it before I could move forward. I hope this helps.
