Huh?  You said you E-filed with a different tax software and  filed with a CPA.  So how did you file with Turbo Tax?   Just file 2024 without  2023.

Actually I didn’t say that. I cut and pasted the various options I was given and turbo tax smooshed them together instead of keeping the options separate.

If you used Online TurboTax for the 2023 return, check to see if you have multiple accounts.  Many people end up with more than one account without realizing it.   You can have up to 5 accounts that use the same email address for notification purposes.  A User ID may be an email address, but it doesn't have to be.  It might be only part of an email address, or it can be anything at all.

 

To get a list of your User IDs, reset password, and recover account access, etc., you can use the tool at the link below.  When using the Account Recovery tool, try using your phone number first if you can still access it.   After that, if necessary, then run the tool on your email address(es) you can access.  Finally, below I mention a "Try Something Else" to look it up another way.


NOTE: Before running the account recovery tool below, log out of all Intuit accounts including this user forum, or you might end up in a loop.  Then clear your browser Internet cache, close your browser, then reopen it, and go to the link below.  You may wish to copy this link so you can paste it into the new browser session.

If still no luck after running that on your phone number that you can still access and email address(es) that you can access,  here's another method:

        Go back to the tool again, but this time leave the data field blank, scroll down a bit, then choose the small blue link that says "Try something else", and it will look you up by other parameters.

@craignancy    Yes, I did read your post several times before I posted.  It was not clear and all ran together.  And you didn't say that those were the choices you were given.     So is your  2024 efile rejecting?   What is the reject message or code?  A common reason is for the wrong 2023 AGI.

 

Try entering 0 for the AGI. The IRS might have processed your return later so the AGI didn't get entered in time.  Especially if you mailed it.  That works for most people. See,

If you can’t get it to efile you will have to print and mail it.

Be sure to attach copies of your W2s and any 1099s that have withholding on them.  You have to mail federal and state in separate envelopes because they go to different places.  Get a tracking number from the post office when you mail them for proof of filing.
