I'm having the same issue. Nothing appearing in my contact history even though I have two emails (and notifications in the top right corner) saying I have a message from a tax expert.
I have no other suggestion other than to contact live help and tell them you didn't get your messages.

What is the red box isn't there? I'm on the phone with them now and neither of us can figure out where to go? There is no red box....
@Ravenicefire Not certain as to exactly what box you are referring to however if it is a case that you have missing buttons, images etc please see the following FAQ: Troubleshooting Missing Buttons in Turbo Tax.

This is an old thread from at least 2 years ago. I don't know if a red box is used anymore. I did find this paragraph in a TurboTax FAQ. See if this works for you:
The tax expert's message can be accessed anytime via the floating Live help button in the bottom right corner of any TurboTax Live screen. Select See my Contact History to find your written response.
