just tried to call and got the message they only answer on Monday through Friday. Would have been nice to have included that in your answer.
The prior answer was during tax season when phone support was open 7 days a week.
Yes, that prior answer was from March of 2021. It is now June of 2022. But you can post questions here, and we'll try to help.
I need yall to fix my taxes from 2022 to 2020
Sorry no one can fix them but you. What was wrong? If they were filed you need to amend them to fix them. How to amend
@Shanda6363 TurboTax provides software for do-it-yourself tax returns. No one else has access to your tax returns or to your account. If you made any mistakes on your tax returns, you are the only one who can access those tax forms and make the changes by amending the tax returns yourself. TurboTax cannot/will not do that for you. Provide some details about what you think was wrong on the tax returns so we can be more helpful as to what you need to do in order to amend.
DO I NEED TO AMEND?

Once you have e-filed the tax return the account cannot be cleared or started over.
You will have to wait for the IRS to either Accept or Reject your filed federal tax return.
If the return is rejected you can make the necessary changes and e-file again.
If the return is accepted you will have to amend your original tax return. An amended return, Form 1040-X, can only be printed and mailed to the IRS if the original tax return was not e-filed. The IRS will take up to 6 months or longer to process an amended tax return.
Before starting to amend the tax return, wait for the tax refund to be received or the taxes due to be paid and processed by the IRS.

Hello I need help processing a payment

Hello I need help processing a payment
What type of payment? TurboTax account fees? Federal taxes owed? Federal estimated taxes paid? Federal extension payment? State taxes owed?
My Turbo Tax line has moved all the way across today so I'm trying to see how much longer will it take for my refund to come
@kimb5648 That line means nothing except that twenty-one days has elapsed. TurboTax never knows when or even if your refund is issued. Your only information must come from the IRS.
First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:
https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/
Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.
You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 35a of your 2021 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:
To track your state refund:

https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1901548-why-do-some-refunds-take-longer-than-others
If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.

OR——if you filed by mail, expect a long wait. It is taking the very backlogged IRS six to nine months to process mailed returns. Until a human opens your envelope and enters the data into the system, nothing will even show up on the refund site, so you will have to be very patient.
