My program said it was all up to date. I did a manual update and tried uninstalling and reinstalling but still said software not up to date. Federal transmitted fine but the state will not. 😡. Technical support had notting else for me to try
I am getting the same problem I was able to transmit my Federal return but not my Illinois return. When will this be fixed?
Just to clarify, did the TurboTax agents that you worked with send the push for the federal download and then the state download?

I never received help from turbo tax agents. I got the push for federal from the community and never received the state. I ended up mailing them in. This is my last year using turbo tax.
This really sucks. The patch also does not work for me.

I cannot transmit my returns.....I see no update to do this when I press online online updates.... kxaw5
Try re-transmitting early in the day or late in the night to avoid server peak times. If you have tried all the fixes noted above and the problem persist, you should contact customer support using this link.
I’m caught in this update before I can transmit my returns cycle. Anybody know how to get past this ?

I was getting the same problem when filing with AZ state. After searching around online, the first thing I learned was you can transmit your Federal with no problem by itself. I turned the efile state off and my Fed was sent. I was able to get my state to finally transmit by doing the following:

Thank you - that did resolve the problem - odd that this is a known issue and can't be fixed via a program update
