I am missing lines 37 thru 47, and the rest of the last page after line 55.

AGI is now on line 7.  The new 1040 is 2 half pages but now print on 1 sheet with the Signature line in the Middle.  See screen shot

The AGI and total income is now on line 7.  Standard Deduction is line 8.  Taxable income is on line 10 and Tax on line 11.

I removed the attachment you put up here that showed your names and Social Security number, since this is a public web site that can be seen by anyone, including scammers and identity thieves.  Please do not post personal documents and information here.

Or do they want a copy of 2017 or earlier?

The new Form 1040 for 2018 includes six possible schedules in addition to the two half pages of the Form 1040.  The lines you think are "missing" would be on schedule 2.  If your tax return did not require schedule 2 then it is not part of your tax return.

To get whole return with all  the worksheets please log back in your TurboTax account and "add a state" to open the return back up (you are not really adding a state, just to open it back up), then select Tools, Print Center and choose the print center, then select returns and choose the radio button to include all worksheets.

I think you and whoever you are dealing with to need to really look at the new form 1040 and it's schedules ... if you filed a return then you have the 1040 in your PDF ... if you follow the instructions to open the closed return and save a PDF of the return as it is filed you will see that new format.

@mnnebco5 You want something that is not there. please actually look at what those schedules look like. Schedule 1 goes to line 36. Schedule 2 begins with line 38. There is no line 37. Sorry—the IRS came up with these changes as a result of the new tax laws. You do not say what you think “line 37” would show. Tax reform and the new tax return forms are confusing for many people—probably including whatever bureaucrat you are having to deal with. But these are the forms—like them or not. TurboTax did not design them. They came from the IRS.

What are the IRS tax form changes?

As part of Tax Reform, the three different 1040 forms (1040EZ, 1040A and 1040) have been replaced with a new Form 1040, and six new schedules, Schedule 1-6..

Page 1 of the new 1040 has general information about you, your spouse, your dependents and filing status, as well as signatures and the bottom of the page. The second page is a summary of all schedules and forms and each section of the 1040 is now in a new schedule. For instance, if you have student loan interest, it’s not at the bottom of the first page anymore, it’s on Schedule 1.

TurboTax is up-to-date with the latest changes and we’ll help guide you through your taxes.

What happened to the 1040A and 1040EZ?

As part of Tax Reform, the three different 1040 forms (1040EZ, 1040A and 1040) have been replaced with a new Form 1040.

This new form has been streamlined to be used by the simplest of filers, but people with complicated tax returns will also use this form. The more complicated the situation, the more forms and schedules are added to the overall tax return.
